    I hired *************************** on 10/4/23 from our community website to install floor tiling to my small bathroom with estimate of $400, which went up to $600. He advertised doing various jobs with pictures of tiling on the website. I suggested doing ceramic porcelain tiles from ****** not knowing he never did that kind of tiling. He ordered the material from ****** in ***********, sent nonitemized. invoice on 10/5 for $374.50, which I paid on 10/6 with an **************** charge, which he never saw. He started the job on 10/6 by mixing the grouting on my cement porch leaving it all over. When he left that evening, said to let it dry before using, but we only have one bathroom. He left by leaving grouting from his hands on everything, tracking it thru house as he exited, even on door k**** I did mop floors up twice, except for porch & various other spots. He came back next day & told him porch needed hosed off. He said he had a power washer to use, however never got done, although he did sweep with markings from grout still apparent. He tried to do a little more work but left as if he was coming back that day. He would make appointments during the project but would always come much later after I called him. He left the bathroom a mess & never returned. He did send an invoice on 10/6 totaling $423.50 for the work marked DUE UPON RECEIPT. On 10/7 another invoice marked PAST DUE. I never paid for incomplete messy work. Today, upon checking my charge card, came to find out he made other 5 charges to ****** in *********** with my card information totaling $973.87. Called **************** on card about these charges, which were marked as FRAUD & will be doing an investigation. Made local Police report. Will be informing ************** community website where he advertises. I am out the $374.50 for material, which now needs trashed & have to find someone to pick up the mess, get less expensive material, & installation. *************************** not to be trusted!
