    I signed up for a 1-month membership at a cost of $24, but then later in the day found out that there is a 2-month minimum and the 2nd month would cost $169. The Orangetheory website does not mention the necessity of purchasing a two-month membership when signing up in January. Additionally, there's no information about the requirement to buy a heartrate monitor, approximately priced at $100, to fully benefit from the Orangetheory fitness approach.The terms page does mention that the premier membership rate will apply in subsequent months. As a customer, this led me to understand that if I chose to continue with an Orangetheory membership beyond the first month, I would then be charged $169 for a full membership. However, there is no clear statement about having to commit to two months upon signing up in January. I find it quite misleading to advertise an offer like this without clearly outlining all the specific conditions upfront, which only become apparent after signing up for the service.I would have loved to continue my fitness regimen with Orangetheory, but how they went about not being completely clear with me upfront when signing up for the service makes me lose trust in this company. It's very deceiving.
