    I was notified by the IRS that there was a problem on my 2021 tax return, which Mooney prepared. Ruthann took my initial call, but when I actually found out what the problem was, and wanted to discuss it with her, she has yet to return my phone call. Very poor customer service.

    I would actually leave negative stars if I could. I’m not sure where to start. she stated that she filed my taxes on 04/02/22. As of 05/26 I had not received my refund. I called her and left a message. No return call from her. I called the state of MD on 05/30/22 and they advised me that my taxes were not filed until 05/27/22. I yet again called her and she insisted that our taxes were filed and that she would check on it. Again, no return call from her. I called her on 06/14/22 because of course we still have not received our refund. She said she would call them and let me know no response from her today. I called the State of MD again and they advised me that I am not getting a refund that I actually owe. I’m not sure what she did with our taxes but they were not correct. We also needed her to file for SC. We finally received that refund but it was $40 less than. What she said we were to get. She also advised me yesterday that she would check on that one but no response from her.
