We had Homeowner funding side our home and install a sliding glass door. The contractors they sent were amazing, BUT, the door was improperly installed. The floor beneath the door is allowing water in, causing damage to both the floor and door. I called the company to inquire about having the door repaired under warranty, and was told they would send someone out to evaluate the damage, which the did, SIX months ago. Every month since I have called to get an update on the repair, and every month I've been getting the run around. Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. If you're considering them, STOP.

Two of our field supervisors corrected the problem. They reinstalled the door and replaced any of the wood that was damaged. The customer is very happy and said that he was updating his ****** review to replect that he is completely satisfied.

Although Homeowner Funding did repair the problem, they also promised a $150 gift card for the inconvenience, a gift card that we have yet to receive. Given that the repairs were done about a month ago and that we were asked to remove this review, I suspect that the gift card was NOT for our inconvenience, but it was contingent on the review removal.

2020 complete roof and siding contracted with this company. Since 2021, this is the 4th time weve had to call them about a leakall in the same area. Roof is not even 4 yrs old. Came up last 3 times and fixed leakagain on 8/2/24 had to call them again to report leak again. This was after the damage inside from the previous leaks were already repairedSheetrock, shackle, repaint ceiling and walls. Here we go again. Called them on 8/2 with another complaint and someone called from their 800 business number to make an appt withMr. *********************** for 8/7 at 2:00. We cancelled vacation so that we could be home for this meeting and surprisehe never showed. Called the 800 number..no answer. Called **************** directly on his cell and no answer. Left a message, no call back, no reply. ***** coming up the eastern coast, had to call another contractor to come tarp it for this storm and then to have them give me a price for repair of roof! Insurance will not cover roof repair due to shoddy work by contractor so its out of pocket now! Nice right? How people can do this to others is beyond me. Economy is so hard on everyone but no one cares. My husband and I are both in our 70s and this is uncalled for. My advice is do not ever get this companythey are not trustworthy o and will NOT stand behind their work! ***************************, ******, PA

Our service manager visited the job site on August 8th and we found an area of the valley that can be causing the problem. We are going on Tuesday Aug 13th to remove that section and install new shingles in the valley. We are also going to install a new gutter on the eave in this section to help direct the water away from this area. we are doing this at no charge.

Id like to comment that they did indeed come up and personally, took responsibility and tore up the portion that was causing the leaks and reshingled everything. Since its been repaired and weve had torrential rain, nothing has since leaked. My inside ceiling was repaired with new insulation and Sheetrock. Ceiling repainted and new pot lights installed. Very satisfied and very happy with the outcome.

Zero stars. This company has taken the advantage of my elderly mother. My mother signed a contract to have her roof replaced 8/11/22 assuming the company would comply with the terms of contract agreement. Months later due to my mother having to have other repair work done it was determined that the rotten/damaged sheathing where applicable was NOT replaced per contract agreement: Contract States: We will replace up to 100 square feet of rotten sheathing at no cost. Any additional wood to be replaced will be $5.00 per square foot. This did not happen nor was the rotten and damaged sheathing brought to her attention in the event there would have been additional cost as the contract stated. Approx 100 square feet of sheathing is severely damaged with mold composites and the shingles are now lifting. I contacted Sam B***** via cell phone @ ******** on Monday Feb 13, 2023 to discuss the issues and he advised me to send him over my mothers address and he would contact me to schedule to come out to assess. To date this has not happened. He has not confirmed the text message nor has he returned my call. The contract has clause: Buyer agrees to allow seller an opportunity to inspect and repair. The request has been made to the company and no response received. Due to the sheathing being serverly damaged with mold composites my mother is forced to repair and replace at a price quoted from another contractor for $10,000 and my mother financed the entire roof which was to include replacing rotten sheathing at no cost through Homewoner Funding for the cost of $24,000. If Homeowner funding a division of Borrell Construction Service LLC decides not to repair and replace, my mother would like to be notified so that she can proceed to file a claim against Homewoner funding a division of Borrell Construction Service General Liability Insurance Company to compensate for the additional repair work needed to be performed. I await for an immediate response. Thank you.

In response to the customer's claim: We conducted a site visit on 2/28 to inspect and evaluate the claims made. Upon our review, the attic decking in question is aged, but no mold was present or visible. At the time of the installation, the decking was up to standard and not needed to be replaced. We would never want to charge a homeowner for items that were unnecessary. The home did not, nor still does not need new decking. The homeowner was never sold all new OSB decking nor was it needed. We advised the homeowner that the home is not vented at the soffits which could cause a future moisture issue, but that is independent of the roof installation. As it stands today, that is not an issue, but just advice. In our professional and expert opinion, the roof was installed properly and to the manufactures specifications. The customer saw our pictures from the attic showing no signs of mold. Below is the report conclusion from the visit for our technician: "Upon inspection there is no mold or any issue moisture or otherwise. I visually inspected and took photographs of the underside of the roof through the access hole in her hallway. As seen in the pictures provided there are no issues. The OSB is a little discolored from age is all. And that is probably being caused by the soffit being covered up not allowing proper ventilation from the soffit area. Other then that all of the construction members OSB included are dry, solid and in good shape. All gable vents are in good working order and open." Thank you, Sam Borgia *** *** ****

In response to the contractors comments: My mother had (2) different contractors come out to assess for mold and plywood damages. (1) company was a mold specialist and the other contractor is a licensed professional. Both reports and pictures were submitted to the Allen Landheer Project Foreman Tech of Homeowner Funding as requested. He has yet to respond to the email sent on March 7, 2023. My mom needs to know if Homeowner Fundinga division of Borrell Construction Service LLC will correct the mold issue and damaged plywood or provide compensation. They can reach my mom at the number they currently have on file. Homeowner Funding sent out a representive from their own company which is Bias. My mom had two different contractors that came out and detected mold and damage plywood which was suppose to be replace according the Homeowner Funding contract. Please response if HomeOwner Funding will compensate or return to repair. Thank you.

Homeowner funding is a fraud. They were supposed to install 10 windows, which they did. However the workers they sent did not speak or understand English, so I had a very hard time communicating with them as I only speak English. Also, when they took the inside molding down they damaged it and then reinstalled it. I showed them the damage and requested new molding. They did take pictures of the damage, but never went any farther. The contractor just said caulking, caulking, which they did, but that didn't cover the damage. Also they assigned me to a Credit Union which I did.'nt approve, so I decided to pay cash. I tried numerous times to contact this credit union by phone or email to find out who to send the full payment to, as there were 4 companies involved, One email in Dec. told me to send the check to Homeowner Funding, which I did on Jan. 9. They sent the check back, and told me to send the payment to All in Credit which I did on Jan. 24,2023. Because of all the time I spent calling number after number, the payment was late, although they did cash the check for the full amount. $12,862.00. I refused to pay the interest on this loan, or late payment charges. I feel this was a scam to confuse older people, and the price I paid was extremely high to begin with. I have the emails I sent to all the 4 companies. I would not recommend this company or companies to my worst enemies. I've belonged to my credit union for over 30 years, if had decided to finance. There was another company involved, Sunrise financial. Not sure where the fit into the equation. Steer clear of these four companies

I think the rating should be not even a one, I was charged $30,000. for a new roof. Originally it was to be $40,000. My roof was in bad condition, and I needed the help right away. I signed the contract and then called to cancel, within my 3 days and was asked if they could come out and measure the roof, I should have NEVER said yes why I did I don't know. I was told that a dumpster would be on the property on a certain day, and it came 2 days earlier, they said they would call before they came, I was away come home and there was the dumpster the very next day people are on my roof no one knocked or rang the bell to tell me they were there. I was given a 10-year warranty and the roof being paid in full within 2 years is now leaking and I called several times for someone to come and fix it and left several messages no one returns the calls. I finally found notes that I had made during the entire ordeal, and it was the cell phone for Sam I called he said someone would be out on Monday a week ago no one called like he said they would, and no one came out. I had called back, and I asked how you know where you are going you didn't even ask my name. He told me they have all my information IF they have all the information why they didn't get back to me?

Sam did not call me but a worker by the name of Steve came out on October 31st told me that the roof needed to be redone because there were no vents put in when you have a rubber roof you need vents so when the sun hits it it doesn't expand and pull up the nails, he told me that Kim would contact me next week and it's past the week and no one has contacted me to put vents in and to paint my ceilings in the rooms were the leak are. It has now rained again, and the leaks are bigger. they did take pictures; Guess I have to call AGAIN!

Called Sam today and Steve about coming and fixing the roof and explained that no Kim did not contact me as far as when anyone was coming, Sam told me someone would be out this week, When I asked what day, he didn't know. "Someone will call me" He asked me if I knew the job couldn't be finished till spring and I said no I wasn't told that. I said I was told that Steve wanted to finish the job before the cold weather, He said no that they would be out to fix the leaks but seal it in the spring. I said seal?. He said yea that they would have to reseal it it would be alright till spring. I said and the vents?. He didn't know about the vents told him about Steve saying how we needed vents and explained what Steve said and he said "Yea, they will put them in and reseal it in spring" Who do you believe. 9 times out of 10 Steve will just show up and I will get no call. When I asked do I have to call come spring he said no they would call, I wrote it down just as he said, BET I HAVE TO! They forgot!
