I could say so much more with penske Newcastle well really new York metro how they are doing the opposite rules on the other side and say idc what art Bryan and Tyler say we gonna do it our way when they visit we do it there way I'm so serious about this there's no lie you got jim quiting and his brother vp of sales supervisors quiting you got supervisors praying n hopeing ppl have heart attacks to take there positions you got people sexual harassing ppl keep there job but fire a 12 yrs person that did one thing wrong I got so much more to say Roger penske art mike duke would be upset, I loved penske they all loved me i was the heart I cared to have a h.r that didn't pass there test 3 times still the face to protect penske wrong let's goo to use chat gbt to do there job come on wrongReview fromMark F

While renting a Penske moving truck, I requested a military discount at both pick up and drop off. At pickup, I was told that Id receive a $50 discount because the truck was only 3/4 full on fuel. I filled the truck before starting my move and it cost over $65 to fill the truck. The actual discount I received was 1% of my rental $44.33. I was told since I was receiving a discount for the fuel, he couldnt discount the rental an additional amount. At drop off, I again asked about a military discount but was told it was too late to do that, despite having a poster on the wall advertising a military discount. Although both locations provided professional customer service, Im disappointed that I couldnt obtain the advertised military discount.Penske Truck Leasing Co. L.P., Inc.

The process of renting the truck is not the issue. I tried to return the truck same day only to find my personal vehicle was locked inside the gate of the facility. Penskes customer service line stops working evening before 9pm as listed so for the night I was out of luck. The next morning I call Penske to notify them my personal vehicle was locked inside the gate and I was in need of retrieving my vehicle. They said the location is closed today and theres no way to get your personal vehicle out. The kicker is Im still being required to drop off the truck today with no way of getting home. To not make it 100% clear and known at the point of renting the truck out is extremely frustrating. Even a phone call a hour or 2 before closing just to check and say are you going to be leaving this vehicle here on site for the duration of the rental or will you be here soon to pick it up. I am right at the front door so you cant miss my vehicle when you lock up for the day and go home for the weekend. Completely s******* me over and saying theres just nothing that can be done but make sure to drop the truck off.Penske Truck Leasing Co. L.P., Inc.

I would like to issue a 10/10 review for Amer and ******* for providing such a pleasant and warming experience.They both were assisted me with booking a truck rental as I am having to move again under extremely unfortunate circumstances. Although I feel overwhelmed and stressed during this time, their empathetic attitudes towards my situation made my day and mood that much better. Not only did they offer impressive discounts , they were also knowledgeable and very resourceful. Both went above and beyond and showed a great deal of professionalism. I can only hope that penske has many more employees like these two who are willing to be just as amazing as they were in assisting consumers. Rented a 26' truck 2 years ago for a ***** to NC move, the cost was $1200. Went online March 26, 2025 to rent the same truck for the same move but in reverse. In less than 2 years the cost increased to $2600. But, it gets better. When I went to double check the cost on March 27, 2025 (11 days later) the cost was almost $4700. For the same truck, same dates and same distance. I called the local Penske rental dealer and they gave me some lame excuse, "time of year and truck demand" No, it's price gouging. Our rates are decided based off the availability at both our pick up and drop off locations. The initial move from ***** to ************** was less expensive because of the amount of trucks we have in ***** vs what we have in ***************Diane H.

I disagree with the company's comment. I checked the price for the truck rental ***** to **************, just to see if that was the case. Wrong!! Same price. March 16 ***** to ************** $2600. March 27th ***** to **************, almost $4700. Nice tryDiane H.

I rented a 16 foot Penske truck and car carrier. At the end of our second day on the road there was a bang from the back of the truck. We went out of control and rolled over! The roads were bare and we were on a straight freeway. There was no collision or any other vehicle involved. How does this happen? Faulty equipment? I spoke with the people who cut up the car carrier. It was totaled. They said it looked as though it might have been a problem with the hitch. We only had minor injuries but my belongings were not in good shape. My car was totaled. We have made 5 calls and left messages with Penske and they will not return phone calls. A Penske driver hit my parked vehicle. It was on a handicap parking spot right in front of a ***** Club store. He hit me and then just drove away. I had to follow chase him down. I have a vlaim pending and they ate fragging their feet. The claims adjuster is rude in his communications. It is by far the worst company I have dealt with. It seems as I was the one who was at fault. It's been over 2months and I'm still waiting.Review fromJason L

While renting a truck and trailer i was assured the trailer would.have the necessary straps to secure the vehicle I was hauling. It came with tie downs but they were far from sufficient to haul what I told them o was hauling. The dolly we got was broke. The straps wouldn't tighten like they were suppose to. They were just hobbled together to be there. This resulted in my wife getting hurt because it wouldn't secure the appliance properly. Towing with thier set up was nightmare.Penske Truck Leasing Co. I purchased a commercial truck from Penske Used Truck Sales the end of Oct 2024. I took possession of the Unit on Nov 11, 2024. The process was being handled by Ms. ******** ****** of Penske sales team and Mr. **** ****** of Premier Finance, who I was referred to by Penske. Ms. ****** worked diligently to find me a good deal on a used 26 box truck. While Mr. ****** worked diligently to find me a lender to finance the Unit. Mr. ****** negotiated on my behalf with ******* and secured financing for me. I picked the Unit up from ******* on Nov. 11, 2024, and drove it to my place of business in *********** on Nov. 12, 2024. I reported a few issues to Penske the very next day and dropped the Unit off on Nov. 13, 2024, to ******* Freightliner in *****, **. Penske offers a 15 day if there is something wrong with the Unit, we will fix it on us. Storm ******** of Penske, is my service coordinator, she has coordinated the service repair of the Unit. Well, it has been 3 weeks now and the purchase of the Unit is costing me money due to the issues that I reported within in the first 2 days of being in possession of the Unit. So, if there are any other issues with the Unit after the initial 15 days, I wont be able to have them resolved because it is now day 22 of possession. On top of the mechanical issues with the Unit, there is an issue with the Titling of the Unit. The finance company, *******, uses a third-party ********************************************** to process their titles. This whole process is becoming a nightmare and very very costly. I have made phone calls, left voice messages, sent emails to Penske, Premier and CalFund and physically been to the repair shop and the local *** to resolve and seek some type of relief for this hardship. I havent been able to haul or do any business with the Unit, what am I to do but to give the Unit back to Penske and get a full refund.Review fromShontavius H

Penske Truck Leasing Tallahassee (7405) is preying on small businesses by charging for damages incurred by previous renters or by the employees (not sure). I started up a small business and needed a truck to fulfill a new contract I obtained through Lowes (Spirit). In my desperation I rented a delivery truck from Penske after being warned not to. The initial process started out rocky, as the truck was on a list of stolen trucks after I provided the *** number to my insurance company to obtain the necessary coverage prior to getting the truck. The insurance company even warned me not to rent this truck even after this was supposedly cleared up. Well, I wanted to seal the deal with ****** to start deliveries from Lowes. I went ahead and rented this truck, paying over $900 a week for the rental and it eventually increasing as time went on. After getting out of the truck, I received a bill for over $11,746 for God knows what? I spoke with Penske and agreed to pay for a damage that did happen while I was in the truck which cost a little to nothing compared to $11,746. I then receive a threatening letter from a debt collector (4 *********************************) formally demanding payment or there would be a motion to take the case to court.
