    The rooms are unsanitary and, the management is unprofessional and unorganized.My partner and I booked this hotel during a business trip in **********. We got in very late, around 12:30am, and were so excited to get a goodnight sleep after traveling all day. Unfortunately that didn't happen. First we were welcomed with no key card and had to have a staff member let us into our room. This wasn't a big deal and we felt bad for the staff member since he seemed to be having a hard night. When we got into our room it was cold and wet. We were too tired to care and climbed into the damp beds. I woke up having an asthma attack at around 3am. I had to use my rescue inhaler 3 times throughout the night and into morning. At around 9 we woke up and took a good look at the room. It was filthy! There was yellow and red gunk on the walls in a couple places, there was what looked to be black mold around the bathroom vent and a corner of the ceiling, black markings all over the walls, and the bathtub faucet was dripping none stop. And to top that off my voice was gone!We went to the front desk at check out and told the boy at the desk we'd be ending our stay. He said he was sorry we didn't find it satisfactory and since he was new he'd make sure he had his manager issue the refund for us. We should have known that would be a problem. 4 days later no refund. My partner went to ask about the refund and was told there was no record of our booking! He was told the manager would call him but we got nothing. He reached out to Days Inn through booking.com to get the refund and was told we had abandoned the room and had lied about the condition of the room so we were not eligible for a refund. We have photo evidence of the issues with the room we wanted to share at check out.We are now fighting to talk with anyone since everytime we call there's conveniently no manager ********. We just want to understand what went wrong in the line of communication and hopefully get some money back.
