    We called Zoom Drain because we had a really bad stench in two of our bathrooms that were back to back. We had someone that would replace wax rings on both toilets for $100 but I was concerned that there may be a bigger issue. Zoom came in and everything seemed great and I was quoted over $400 to run some diagnostics. Cant remember if that was including the wax rings or not. I inquired how much it would run to just clear the vent, the plumbing, and replace the wax rings to see if it would be more reasonable to just do it rather than pay for the diagnostics then have to pay for the repairs on top. We opted for the second option. It appeared the vents and pipes were clear and the wax rings needed to be replaced and there was an issue with how those were set given our floor. The next day things smelled even worse so I reached out via text. I was told they could caulk around the toilets but unfortunately that is a bandaid on a gunshot wound. I asked if the could come check it out after thanksgiving and I was told yes. We were busy and I reached back out on 12/20 to schedule for after Christmas. No response. Jan 8th I reached out and he told me he and his family were very sick when I messaged. I replied and heard nothing back. On Jan 12th I reached back out. I even asked if they cant fix it, can you point me in the direction of someone who could. No response. AGAIN. We paid $798 to fix an issue that was not resolved and then we were completely ignored when trying to address the issue. Highly disappointed with our experience with this contractor, which is a shame because they seem like nice people.
