      ARK waterproofed my exterior foundation 3/22 prior to starting I was emphatic not to tie not tie anything into my driveway due to deterioration and will need to be replaced. *** the owner ignored my request. With in a year I had two large cracks appear and the cement was crumbling where it was tied in to my driveway. I contacted explained situation and they sent their service manager out. **** immediately diagnosed the problems, poor cement mixture and should have never been tied into driveway. The service manager assured me they would correct the problems after winter. Spring of 2023 I attempted to contact the service manager because it was ***** with no communication finally I made contact. **** stated he wants to meet again and form a plan and he will call me with date to meet. I waited till June when I noticed a ARK crew at my neighbors. I explained I was working with **** to resolve an issue they informed me of his sudden passing at a worksite. I asked them for their opinions on my problem, they immediately pointed to the cement work and the work should have been tied together into the driveway but instead a footer should have been connected. *** the owner was told prior to doing the job, that I wanted a footer and everyone that looked at the job also recommend one. I contacted their office and was told someone would get back to me never happened. All the reviews I have read three things are common 1. Poor feedback on *** 2. Sloppy or poor quality of work 3. Not getting back to customers. When I got no call back my thoughts were, did I say something to offend until I read all the negative reviews on 3 different sites.

      Had them do my basement and the pump has never turned on yet, just talked to my neighbor who had his basement done by Ark and he said the same thing, his pump hasn't turned on yet, they don't do something right.

      The team who installed my interior french drain in my garage were very good at their job and were in and out in no time. The finished product looks great! They went over everything that they were going to do before they started work, and afterwards, went over the details of what they did and the process to be able to use the space again. Would recommend to anyone who needs this type of work done. Also the Owner, ****, came out personally and talked over everything prior to the work. Very professional.

      I had *** come out and give me a estimate on my basement , I gave *** a $400 deposit and scheduled a date for the work , I had to reschedule the date that I made , I had to other estimates from reputable businesses that both stated that I needed something different than *** had estimated, I asked if I can get my $ 400 back , he’s stated that I cannot due to me cancelling 3 days after the deposit was made, I didn’t cancel I rescheduled , he kept mixing me up with a different customer and will not return my money , he’s saying he can comeback out and give me another estimate, I even asked if he can at least give me half he will not . How do you just keep someone’s money and did no work at all , I think this is very unacceptable and I would never do any business with this company nor give a referral .

      On behalf of Ark Basement Services, Inc. we'd like to apologize that we did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, as stated in your signed contract, canceling a job outside of the three day recission period means that any deposit money that was given is forfeited. Your job was canceled 3 days before it was scheduled for installation. By that time, your contract had been signed and your job had been on our calendar for over 30 days. Materials were purchased, dates were held making them unavailable to other customers, and schedules were **** around your assigned dates. The deposit money that is retained is used to off-set the expenses that were incurred due to the cancellation of your contract which you requested.It is always our priority to offer our customers the best product and service that we can. Again, we apologize that we did not do that for you, and we will use this experience to improve in the future.
