Ingram's Plumbing & Heating deserves not even one star from me and my family!!!!! Ingrams was hired to install a new 5' x5' powder room in my parents home. It was installed directly adjacent to and over existing plumbing so no trenching or extensive piping required. They charged my parent $7,995.00. There was also power on the where the room was to be built which means no extensive wiring required. After see the framing my parents thought it to be too big. asked that they decrease width by 12 inches. which also moved the toilet. Ingrams charged them an additional $2,995.00 to do that. When they said they were done, after more than a week, the room had torn wall paper hanging, an outlet that was partially covered, mixed matched wood trim, there was no new flooring at all, parts of the wall was crooked, (so crooked that the new air vent that they attempted to install was not level by 3/4" on one side) They filled the gad with caulking and not in a good way. They left the spackling of the seams trowel level rough in some areas and DID NOT USE JOINT TAPE OR CORNER BEADS AT ALL! When I called and questioned they refused to talk to me. They told my parents that they only installed to "Paint Ready" levels. When I had two other contractors look at it, one laughed and asked where was the Gold hidden. The other said confirmed my belief that my parents were taken for their money!!!! Mr. husband reminded me that Ingram's was the same company that we had issues with when they did work in our home in 1999. two months after installation the door couldn't shut past 10-15 degrees. I had my father call them. I gentleman that I didn't recall seeing on the project, chiseled off the end of the door at the hinged side. He asked me to look at it. I notice the door frame was slightly curved and ask that he take the door off and take 1/4" off of the entire width of the door because in will expand and contract and need that space. His reply...Oh that looks better!! THIS IS NOT OVER!
