      I went through breast cancer 2 and a half years ago here. I was never told that I qualified to get the reconstructed surgery after my lumpectomy! Who was supposed to tell me this? The surgeon, radiologist or the oncologist??? I have been suffering severe depression and anxiety because of this! I was given a huge scar right under my ****** and missing a big chunk of my breast! Every time I look at my breast I can only think of the cancer! I ended up doing some reading online and discovered there was a ** cancer law that states all breast cancer patients that had either a mastectomy or lumpectomy qualified to get reconstructed surgery after! I'm very upset that I was not ever informed of this. I was just left struggling to live and thinking I had to save up money some how for this surgery!

      My bill was sent to collection agency by Jefferson. They promised to resolve this bill. I was billed a copay of $45 for seeing a specialist. I was not seeing a specialist but a registered dietician Erin Galuchie, and that's covered by the insurance. There is something wrong with the documentation, and as a result of that, I am billed and since they cannot resolve the documentation, I am being a victim and billed and the bill was sent to collection agency. I am trying to find a resolution to this issue

      This complaint was received by the Privacy Office at Jefferson Health. However, the issue the patient identifies is outside the scope of privacy, but it will be forwarded to our patient experience staff for follow up with the complainant.

      Can't give a 0 star took my wife with a BP of 222/111 and symptoms of a stroke took blood work and an x-ray waited from 7pm to 345am and finally was seen there was plenty of rooms so no issues there all the staff were stitting around more patients in the waiting room left then were treated I believe there was no doctor back there to treat anyone my wife could have had a stroke luckily it wasn't they gave her a BP medicine and it went back down took more blood test too this hospital is poorly operated
