We worked for Assero for at least 10 years. Never had a problem getting paid until this past year. Late checks- and now no check. i am owed for inspections I completed in Spring of 2023. It's not even that much money, but it is money I earned for services I performed and they approved. Today I tried to email the 4 email contacts I had available and they all came back as undeliverable. I called the number they used to call me from and it was just a busy signal. The main number gives the option to leave a message, but I am not holding my breath.
Perhaps liens on the properties would speak loudly to them.

We have worked for Assero doing Fannie Mae work for the past 8 years. They lost the contract and now we are fighting to be paid for work we did August-October. They owe us over 15K. Eddie keeps telling me he will have an answer for us next week.... He has been telling me that since October. I have contacted my attorney who is reviewing our contract with them. We will be placing leins on the the properties we did the work on, and we will be placing a lein on Assero. We will fight them. Three one five, 796 seven two one zero if any other vendor has any insight on what else we can do.....

I started working for Assero in 2019/2020. Everything was fine in the beginning, but slowly this company started slacking on payments. I am still owed money by this company for the months of May, June, July, and August in the amount of over 15K. I have tried contacting "Assero" which is now "24 Asset" and I get absolutely no where with that either. This company has gave me the run around and no answers at all. I am asking for any help possible. I need to get paid for the work I did for this company!!!

Vicki W**** please contact me on Facebook or messenger. My company is called Open Spaces. Did 11 jobs for Assero on 3 different properties in the Weirton WV area. Zero pay, no return emails or phone calls. Would love to file a class action suit against this fraud company.

I would like to mention firstly we are a general contracting company who had the displeasure of working for "Assero Services". We should have ran the second the company said it takes 90 days to get paid from completion date. We have traveled thousands of miles, invested in equipment, and spent thousands on accomodations for this company, to just cancel orders on us once we got there, change the price of the work performed, and also straight up decline to pay for services rendered. We have before, during and after photos for all services and they still declined to pay us for our services. We were promised compensation for a 30 yard dumpster that is now our responsibility to pay. The people that work here are just as bad, promising and empathizing things they can't deliver on. Not to mention they just lost their major contract with a Federally Commissioned company and all their other contracts with REO / PP companies because they have burned so many other contractors. I have heard that they have now shut down their PA office to liquidate their losses however are not paying what is owed to their vendors? Lee M****** and Douglas Fleming are in cahoots and have been scamming people for years it seems. Now they have done so on a grandiose scale by utilizing a Federal contract to do so to the hard working, usually mom and pop, small businesses over a decade. If they try to bring themselves out of the ashes do yourselves a favor and take it from the countless victims of this tirade and run, run fast.

I have been trying to contact someone in regards to payment on 2 invoices one is over $11k. I have called, left voice mails, emails, and even reached out to the CEO by email and on Linkedin. Still NO one will respond. these jobs were completed in Feb 2023 and are now over 60 days from the date the invoices were approved ( so much for a net 45 day term) This companies lack of communication and organization says it all. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME or YOUR MONEY. if this company really cared they would read their own reviews and correct the issues. All the reviews saw the same thing showing a pattern and a consistent trend of bad communication and payment issues. Lee Mertins is the CEO and I hope he reads these reviews and implements corrective actions soon to save this his company as this is the worst one that I have ever done work for

I work for the company as a subcontractor and have not been paid or had any return calls or emails. I am still waiting for November check December check January check February check and soon my March check will be late also. I have stopped doing any work for them until I receive all of my back pay.

Company doesn’t pay their vendors for work performed. I’ve called everyday for a week and no one every answers the phone. Assero will never respond to emails unless they want you to complete work. I finally got paid after 3 months. Now I have been waiting on my last invoice to be paid for 2 months. I finally got a response from someone at the company and they said they are having trouble paying vendors. Do not work for this company.

Do not work for assero as a subcontractor. They do not pay there subs and will not return phone calls or emails. They will hold onto your pay for months and they might pay you something months and months later
