    We had Knock on Wood install a Trex deck approx. 12 years ago. Norman B**** assured he was qualified and an expert. We foolishly believed him. We never saw him on the site except to collect money.After the third winter the facia board and some deck boards started to expand. We called Norman B**** several times leaving messages. He never returned any of them. As time went on it got worse and we contacted Trex with numerous photos on three occasions. Each time they said it was installed improperly and poorly. Now we are replacing the decking and have found out the work was even shoddier than we knew. The risers were rotted due to the facia board being installed improperly.The posts were not secured properly either with gaps between.The wrong type of screws were used. Two of the bottom risers are cracked because they were not supported properly. One riser had no support and the second had a small piece of facia board to balance it I could go on. I know finding this at this late time ( since most of the shoddy work was covered over) does not give us any options but I want everyone to know to avoid this shady contractor who does not back up his work
