      I think this compony is not what they are advertasing or promising their customer they sale the contract and will not cover your warrantty for sure i will not sale their warranty to any customer and honestley they don't deserve any star. They are fraud

      I have had a great experience with this company. ***** in claims was very helpful and got my rental car cost paid for. also, the repair on my car was paid for with little cost to me. *********************** is also someone that was a great help. I would buy from this company again.

      Bought the top level warranty, sounded great. Recently had an oil leak and alternator problem. My cost on the repairs, $3700!! They covered the alternator, oh wait I had to wait five days to have them send it to the shop, they didnt cover labor and didnt cover any gaskets. Other than the alternator itself that took 7 business days to actually complete Im wondering where the value is in their Premium coverage. I dont recommend this companyworthless!

      The CARS Protection ********* (CARS) ************************ is in receipt of your BBB review and responds as follows:On February 15, ****, a repair facility opened a mechanical claim on behalf of your Vehicle for an alternator, valve cover gaskets, an oil filter adapter gasket, and timing cover gaskets. The alternator was the only component listed for coverage on your ***. Please see your *************** coverage at Provision 2. (a., v.): 2. SCHEDULE OF COVERAGE: a. POWER TRAIN: ************************* Seals and gaskets are covered only when required in conjunction with the replacement of a covered component. Additionally, cylinder head gaskets are covered for combustion and coolant leaks. Intake manifold gaskets are covered for coolant leaks only.CARS provided assistance for the alternator as follows: Labor - 3.5 hours at the hourly labor rate stated on your *** of $70.00 = $245.00: Part - $177.84 + $11.78 sales tax = $189.62: less your per mechanical claim deductible of $100.00. For the part you were given two (2) options, you could have CARS ship CARS supplied part, or take the dollar amount CARS would have paid for CARS supplied part and use it toward the cost of the repair facilitys part. You chose to have CARS ship CARS supplied part. CARS tries to provide accurate ETAs to repair facilities when shipping a part and CARS apologizes that the alternator took longer to arrive than you were expecting.Each mechanical claim is adjudicated according to the Terms and Conditions of the customers individual *************** Contract (***).       This is the worst company to deal with. The transmission went out in my truck three weeks ago and as of today I still dont know whats going on. After I filed a claim and got nowhere I contacted the dealership and they called as well. CARS Protection told the dealership that I hadnt filed a claim. When I called them I was informed that they wanted to speak to the transmission shop and not me. So as of today I am no closer to getting my truck repaired than the first day it broke down. After reading all of the bad reviews on here, I really wish I had never even bought the protection plan. Something tells me that there is going to be a loop hole in their favor.

      Bought their 2nd most comprehensive plan for $3000 in November 2021. Good for 4 years.January ****, needed rear air suspension fixed. A system covered by the warranty.Repair cost: $3,799.37 CARS Protection Plus Covered: $596.58. (Shop said they cover a labor shop rate of $75 per hour. Which hasnt been seen since the ******* administration.)I had low expectations but hoped theyd cover roughly half.Soyeah. Suboptimal.

      The CARS Protection ********* (CARS) ************************ is in receipt of your BBB review and responds as follows:CARS apologizes that you are unhappy with the assistance you received; however, mechanical claims are adjudicated using the Terms and Conditions of each customers individual *************** Contract. CARS has reviewed your mechanical claim and located where some of the difference in the assistance amount authorized by CARS versus the amount that the repair facility charged for the repairs occurred. First, your *************** Contract (VSC) assists with the labor cost on a covered repair in an amount of up to $70.00 per hour. The repair facility you chose for this repair charged more than double that and you are responsible for the difference. CARS sells VSCs that offer higher hourly labor rates, including VSCs that will pay any repair facilitys posted labor rate within industry standards.Second, during the adjudication of mechanical claims you have two options to receive parts, provided the authorized labor amount meets your $100.00 per claim deductible. CARS can ship CARS supplied parts and assist with the labor or provide the amount CARS would have paid for CARS parts as an allowance toward the cost of the repair facilitys supplied parts. If you choose to use the repair facilitys parts and the repair facilitys parts are more expensive, you are responsible for the difference. Lastly, the final invoice from the repair facility was not just for the failed air springs, there were failed components requested that were not covered on your VSC and CARS could not assist with those failures. In the Terms and Conditions of your *************** Contract you will find a complete list of covered components.       purchased a warranty service not even 7 days ago with a used vehicle purchase and tried calling right before their 5 pm close time and got hung up on by three different agents. And non of them called me back.Horrible customer service. And whats worse, tried calling the after hours number and no one answers. Left several voicemails and still nothing after 3 to 4 hours past.

You cancelled your VSC and on November 08, 2023, CARS issued a check representing CARS portion of the refund due to your lender. Your lender cashed CARS check on November 16, 2023. CARS has reviewed your CARS account, and it appears that you are unhappy because your lender did not apply CARS payment to your account.
