    I hired Donahue Mechanical to fix my hot water tank, which was emitting dangerous carbon monoxide levels. I found them on social media, where ****** Donahue boasts about his great work. Despite many recommendations, my experience was far from satisfactory. After explaining my situation, Donahue sent his son to make the repair. The problem wasn't fixed, and the vent was still not up to code. When I contacted ******, he promised to come by but never showed up or responded. Another HVAC technician had to fix the issue, bringing carbon monoxide levels to 0 PPM.Though ****** offered a refund, I never received it. This situation was dangerous, and the repair was poorly done. Donahue Mechanical failed to take responsibility or honor their promise of a refund. Do not trust this company. If you choose to hire them, double-check all work before they leave and before making any payment.

    If you are looking to throw your money awhile, hire Tom for the job! I recently purchased a condo in Philadelphia and discovered the AC was not working. I found the original paperwork from the unit and discovered Donahue Mechanical installed the system in 2019. I call Tom and he came out to access the situation. After 3 hours he said it is up and running, I paid him $375 and he left. A week later I turned the system on and still wasn’t blowing cold air. I contacted Tom and set up an appointment, he blow me off. I contacted him again the following week, we scheduled an appointment and he blow me off again. I’ve been contacting him, he refused to respond. I now know why! I had an expert come in and look at the unit, he knew immediately what the problem was. It was out of refrigerant. Anyone in the industry should have diagnosed that immediately. Just goes to show that he was willing to take my money and run due to his ignorance of the business. Stay far away!
