  We had new hardwood floors installed, and our existing hardwood floors refinished by ***. overall, the floors turned out very nice, it was a crew of young men that did the job. For the most part they were careful and courteous. We signed an agreement with them in the first week of December, and they needed our 50% deposit immediately - they came and picked it up in person and was deposited that day. I get paying half up front for materials, but they didn't do the job until almost two months later. It all turned out fine, but the urgency to get our checks gave us pause thinking that maybe they didn't have the funds to manage the business. We even had them do a few other small jobs that we added in and paid for after the job was complete. After that job, we reached out again to have them refinish our wooden staircase. We asked their business mgr (the owner's daughter) if she could give us a rough idea how far out they were currently scheduled before we gave them another 50% deposit. She refused to provide any insights...said she won't look at the schedule until she has a check in hand. I tried to explain I was just looking for a rough idea..not a specific date and I wouldn't hold her to any dates. Her reply was that she's done business this way for 45 years (she's not even 45 years old!) and she's never had an issue. I tried to explain I just wanted a general idea when I could expect the work to be done (how many jobs ahead of mine, how many weeks/months, anything). Finally she said 3-4 weeks, so I said ok and that I'd send her a check. She said I needed to speak with her before sending anything to ensure I understood the way she does business. Sorry...I don't have this much time to spend to coordinate a job, so we won't be working with them again. **************** is lost on the younger generation unfortunately. If you work with this crew, be prepared to fork over your money right away and do what the daughter tells you or you'll get nowhere.

  Terrible Experience with Advanced Specialty Flooring LLC We had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Advanced Specialty Flooring LLC, led by ***************************. We hired them to install new flooring in our home and handle the necessary subfloor preparation, but what we received was nothing short of shoddy workmanship and unprofessional behavior.From the start, the communication was lacking, and it only got worse. Despite agreeing to a verbal quote for the subfloor prep and moving HVAC vents, they now refuse to take responsibility for the subfloor issues that have resulted in large gaps and broken floor planks. We discovered these issues in May 2024, shortly after the installation, and despite our numerous attempts to resolve the matter, they have been nothing but evasive.***, the owner, refuses to visually inspect the damage and instead tries to blame the subfloor without taking any accountability. His team, including ******* and ***, have been incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. We can't even mop certain sections of our "waterproof" flooring because of the open seams and broken planks caused by their poor installation.To make matters worse, after finally delivering replacement materials, *** failed to inspect the damage personally, leaving us with unresolved issues and a home we can't properly maintain. We were promised a follow-up to fix the problems but have been left in the dark since early July.This companys lack of responsibility and professionalism has caused us significant stress and inconvenience. We strongly advise against using Advanced Specialty Flooring LLC if you value quality work and reliable service. We are now forced to consider legal action to get this matter resolved.Stay away from this company if you want your flooring done right the first time! If you do hire them, make sure you get proof of insurance before any money changes hands.

  I used ASF to install a metallic floor in my restaurant for the WOW factor when you walk through the door. I'm not impressed with the outcome after walking in and seeing gouges in the floor bubble, ruts and no gold flakes that I asked to be in the floor to accent my booths, instead they decided they would rather use spray paint and not the gold flakes I asked for. I tried speaking with them and getting it fixed the way it should have turned out, but this company doesn't stand by their product! They only make excuses for why it happened and nothing to make up for the mistake. They told me they would make it 99% better, that didn't happen because they blindsided me with a release form the day of the fix that I refused to sign. They offered to fix it the right way... OK perfect I'm happy. Until the week of the date they had scheduled to redo it. Their attorney hasn't finished whatever form they want me to sign before they redo the floor, they messed up to protect me and them. I shouldn't have to sign something to protect them they should just stand by their product.
