Campers Inn RV of Philadelphia: a big red *******:DR// ********************** INN RV OF PHILADELPHIA HAS ISSUES WITH HONESTY WHEN IT COMES TO DEALING WITH CUSTOMER RV REPAIRS. WHEN YOU MISREPRESENT THE LITTLE THINGS MISREPRESENTING THE BIG ONES IS JUST MORE OF THE SAME.When it comes to RV purchases and service, trust in those you choose partner with is *********. Upselling is a common sales practice and as such is acceptable, however outright dishonesty in service sales is not ever acceptable. Unfortunately, my experiences with Campers Inn RV of Philadelphia have exposed a disturbing pattern of deceit.First, after purchasing a new travel trailer, I discovered a persistent toilet leak. Campers Inn RV of Philadelphia was listed by the toilet's manufacturer as a certified repair location. After their service department evaluated the problem, they claimed they couldn't replicate the issue. However, the leak reappeared immediately at next use. This suggests either gross incompetence or intentional misinformation on the part of there service department.Second, during a routine winterization, they falsely claimed my less than year old battery was defective. After a quick charge at home, the battery was fully functional. This blatant lie can only be interpreted as a sleazy ploy to sell a replacement. These incidents raise serious concerns about the integrity of Campers Inn RV of Philadelphia staff. If you are considering becoming their customer, I would strongly urge you to exercise extreme caution when dealing with this company. A dishonest seller can turn a dream travel/camping experience into a nightmare. The 2nd star is only for how pleasant the reception staff was.

******** ******** dropped his travel trailer off at Campers Inn of Phila for a Pennsylvania State Inspection, Winterize and a 12 Point Inspection. Several days after the drop off during the Winterizing and Pennsylvania State Inspection it was discovered that the battery on his trailer was dead (displayed 2 volts on test meter) and would not take a charge thru the 7 pin wire harness that charges the trailer battery from the tow vehicle. ******** ******** was notified that for his trailer to pass inspection it would need a new battery or the 7 pin wire harness diagnosed to make sure *************** Brakes Breakaway Switch would function properly. ******** ******** accused our technician of lying about this. ******** ******** purchased a automobile battery from another store and brought it in and we advised him that it did not have the proper connections for a trailer, he later returned with a RV battery that connected properly and was able to activate the *************** Brakes when we tested the Breakaway Switch with his new battery and we passed his Pennsylvania State Inspection and affixed the Inspection Sticker. Relative to ******** ********** complaint about the toilet leaking we could not replicate the problem ******** ******** asked us to look at, if we can't replicate the problem there is no way for us to make a repair. It is always our policy at Campers Inn to be honest and given a customers approval do a quality diagnostic to make sure repairs meet the customers expectations.

This business is only about making as much money as possible. They tell so many lies to get you to sign the paperwork. Any promises they make will not be upheld and they will make up extra fees just to get more cash out of you. Beware of campers inn it's a crooked company and they will screw you.

Salesman didn't have what we wanted so he tried to show a different model. We drove 2 1/2 hours each way because we were told they did have the right model. Bait & switch?

My wife and I recently brought our travel trailer to Campers Inn RV of Philadelphia. It needed to be inspected and we had a few items we wanted addressed. The staff seemed friendly enough when we dropped it off. The service manager, Justin, did a little walk around with me and we discussed some of the work that would be done. While our trailer was there, we had some additional questions, however, Justin was absent during the week so we had to direct our questions to the service desk agent, Cynthia. Some of the questions were technical so she would have to put me on hold while she contacted a service tech. This led to communication problems, things got lost in translation. The biggest issue we had was with work on the roof of the RV. I thought that the entire surface was being cleaned and sealed. All they did was seal around most of the fixtures on the roof, they did not clean anything or seal the entire roof surface. They were to lazy to remove the the two covers over the vents to seal around them. I didn't discover the disparity in the work until after we brought it home and I was able to get a ladder and check it. They also killed the batteries and damaged a decal on the front of the trailer. When I asked about the issues, I was told we should have inspected everything before leaving the lot. I was gouged on the price of the roof, over $630. That would have been acceptable price if they had actually cleaned and sealed the entire roof. That's how it was listed on the invoice, the total for all of the work was $1350.34. They also tacked on an additional $50 that wasn't itemized. Justin's answer was that it was for "rags and shop supplies". I thought I was being reasonable on a request for a partial refund on the roof. Justin didn't want to hear and was slow to answer emails. His offer was for us to drive the trailer back so they could seal around the vents they skipped. I told him we would not be back. I would not recommend this company. Overpriced, bad service
