      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is resolved , but unsatisfactory to me.  Although the charge for parts not installed was removed from the bill, the cost of the towing was simply increased to compensate.  I paid the requested amount only out of necessity to get the repair process moving along.  

      The end result was me paying an absolutely absurd cost of $250 for a short tow.  They wanted another $150 for the tow to a shop that will repair the vehicle.  To put the absurdity of these charges into perspective, calls to other local tow services quoted no higher than $85 for the same tow.  Further, the cost of the second tow alone increased by $30 from the original price I was given.

      So resolved should be used loosely here as it's more like I just buckled and paid him so I can have my vehicle fixed and back on the road.

      rs that my insurance won't cover because he told me to cancel the claim bc he could fix it. Never did he ever mention anything about even a possible chance he wouldn't be able to fix the vehicle until after the claim was already closed. That's not absolutely required, but seems at least fair given how it all went down. At the least don't charge me for parts for work you never did. Now he's holding my vehicle hostage and won't tow it to the mechanic that can do the work until I pay for these parts/labor for the repairs he couldn't complete as promised. Nothing has been paid to him yet
