I have been with PSECU over 20 years with multiple accounts. They USE to be a great credit union to belong to, they were all about the members. In the last 8 plus years they have declined significantly. They do NOT protect your financial interest, or extend a hand for advice, assistant etc. If you are a member monitor you accounts closely.Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union

You must submit proof of car insurance on any active auto loan with psecu. You must also maintain an active savings account to keep the loan active. I am into my third year term and for some reason they picked this year to ask for proof of auto insurance via mail and email. I responded to this request back in August. Several days went by and I then received a written letter stating that $250-300 would be added to my loan if I did not send the required documents by x date. I picked up the phone and asked to speak to the supervisor (8/27). When I informed her that I had sent the requested documents over via email she said we could just handle it over the phone. I pushed for her to do the research because I sent the documents accordingly. After 15 minutes she said she found the email but the link has expired. She stated emails can take 7-10 business days to open. She offered to call the insurance company and took care of it on her own. While i appreciated that , it was not necessary and double the work because I had already send the documents over. Here we are today, I get another email regarding the same request for the same documents. I called the phone number and asked the *** why this credit union is so disorganized and incapable of documenting proper communication. From my angle, it appears they are just trying to find a way to penalize customers for anything they can find. Oh, and the supposed reason for this new email was because my insurance expired two weeks after my initial phone call in August. The funny thing is, I have proof that I renewed my insurance prior to my initial phone call and the supervisor failed to ask the insurance company, let alone document any communication she had with me. Apparently the *** had to listen to my phone call from that date all over again. To prove they are phishing for money, the email they sent me today is 37 days beyond my alleged lapse of insurance coverage. If you were that concerned you would have contacted *******.Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union

Do not trust this bank! I have been with this bank since 2000, when I first started employment with the state. For years, I felt like this bank turned down everything I applied for, yet my friends with lower credit would always be approved. However, I stayed because it was convenient. Recently, I received a check from a family member that was returned. I covered the check from my own money immediately. Well, I went to use my mobile banking, and I was locked out of my account, so I called **********************. I got a very rude and unpleasant representative who told me the bank has canceled my mobile banking and all ATM deposits because a year ago the same thing happened, and I was "counseled" about it. Two checks written to me from another party were returned in a year, and I was punished as if I wrote the checks myself. I also covered those checks immediately. Yet, this has not happened to other people I know who have been in the same situation. It's like they don't like me or people like me. Also, when I asked to speak with a manager, they put me through to voicemail, and they never called me back. A few weeks later, I called in again. This time the manager got on the line with a confrontational attitude. He was rude, disrespectful, and kept talking over me. He also stated a manager doesn't have to call you back if they determine your call is not relevant or important. I notice PSECU's level of customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with at a bank. Needless to say, I'm done after 20+ years of banking here. I'm going to a military credit union. Be cautious of this awful bank... better yet, don't even join this distasteful, discriminatory, and dishonest bank. Yes, they lie too!Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union

Horrible customer service by ****. My mom died 7/10. I have sending everything requested but each time **** adds something else. And he really does not care that hes omitted informationor wasting time by having repeated calls. I suppose its hus form of job security. Its been 1 1/2 months since my mom past and I am currently paying all her house expenses. None of which I would have had to do if **** could give all of the correct information on one call. If you have an account with these people and intend to leave it to anyone, move it now.Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union

This company is a fraud. Recently received an auto loan in which they took the first 4 payments and deposited them into a different account then dinged my credit report for a 90 days past due payment even though they received all the payments. When I called I had amiserable time even getting through on their horrid answering service and then when I finally did I was met with well it's your fault. After threatening them with a lawyer they relented and said they'd fix the account but refused to fix my credit score. That's your problem was their quote for their scam. Seems they give you a loan then do everything they can to ruin you for getting it.Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union

Absolutely the worst service I have experienced with a financial institution and I have been a member for over *********************************************************************** depositing a check through the **** I was told they needed a 3rd party statement and that they had mailed a certified copy of the check back to me and I should receive it in 2 to 3 days as I am located in ********. No communication from them until I contacted them on 7/16 to try and find out why I had not received this certified copy of the check in the mail yet. I was told today that they held it for a week and sent it out today...meanwhile, my vehicle is waiting to be picked up at the garage, while I continue to pay for a rental. The gentlemen * Clay * on the other end didnt understand why I was so frustrated as he continued to talk over me and told me I should be nicer. All of this after I was on hold for over ***************************************************************************************************************************************** the document that I was told was sent last Monday.Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union

3 1/2 years waiting for PSECU to release my dad's account after he passed away. They repeatedly state something different when I call or ask for forms they've already told me are completed. A lawsuit is pending as they have a Court Order and still won't release it because of "it's our policy," which, by the way, means nothing when there is a Court Order. Every answer has been a lie. Ill go ahead and respond to myself :For confidentiality reasons, we didnt contact you because we ran out of liesPennsylvania State Employees Credit Union
