    Was interested in buying multiple rifles on their website. Live in the same town as them and they refuse to let you see the firearms before you buy them. Pretty hard to spend several thousand dollars on random pictures posted on the internet. Tried contacting someone and they didnt bother getting back to me. Shady and lackluster

    The customs contacted us with a question. Unfortunetly we were not able to help them. This customer then proceed threatened us over the phone, before abruptly hanging up. No transaction took place with the customer. We can't work with people who do that. We have 5000+ positive feedback on GunBroker. That is more than "just random pictures on the internet".

    No issues! Love my P-14 and M1 Carbine! They (Langara) made my very 1st (and 2nd) C&R online purchase perfect and easy. Comms along the way were great! 6 days to my door! The 1st went so well, a couple weeks later I decided to make a 2nd purchase. Both used, antique firearms. No problems with service or shipment. They were both packed well and bubble wrapped. In both instances I looked at the pictures (They give great pics of the bores) and read the descriptions, so I knew what I was getting. As with anything "Antique" it's not going to be perfect. That being said, BOTH firearms as delivered are functional (I did disassemble and clean them-which I do with every firearm I purchase, even new ones). The M1 Carbine has a few stock imperfections but they WERE stated in the description and also had pics of it. Again I knew what I was getting. To everyone-please READ the descriptions and waivers, look at and enlarge the pictures and above all ASK QUESTIONS! So far I'm happy with my purchases (which shoot just fine, by the way) and would recommend Langara Arms and Antiques to anyone.

    The seller was very rude to me when I spoke with him to make payment. They dodged phone calls to take payment which I have evidence of. The reason for dodging the phone calls was to let the buyer protection on ********* run out. The item I bought was not as described with a simple inspection one could clearly see the barrel marring. The seller said that firearm was missing a s**** What they did not mention was that the s**** hole had been drilled out making an impossible to fix or replace. Both of these things could have easily been inspected during an acquisition of a firearm. And should have been mentioned in the description.Avoid their exploitation of policies to get away with ripping off customers.I would avoid buying anything from them at all cost. I'm in the process of filing dispute with the card ************ yourself to trouble and do business elsewhere.

    We are disappointed to hear that you are unhappy with your item. Let me break down your complaint with bullet points.-We were not rude to you on the phone. We are extremely busy, and are not always able to answer the phone. We pick up the phone when can. You also never left a voice mail. Every time we tried to call you back, you didnt pickup (we also have documentation of this). One time you did pickup the phone, you said you had to transfer funds to pay for the item. We said ok, and you proceeded to call back a different time. - You were denied a return for 4 reasons. I will also break these down for you. 1. You purchased this item on layaway. Per our terms, any items placed on layaway are NOT eligible for return. In fact, most companies that offer any kind of payment plan, do not allow returns. Layaway is a privilege given to buyers, and is extremely riskier for sellers (us), as there is no guarantee you will actually pay for the item.2. You accepted the item at your local FFL. Per our terms (and most of the other sellers on GunBroker), once the item is transferred to you by your local FFL, it is considered yours. You had ample time to inspect it. You also had the right to refuse it at your local FFL. You did neither, and allowed yourself to accept the item, complete the paperwork and in turn, completed the transaction. 3. GunBroker does not allow returns on layaway. When selling on GunBroker and allowing layaway on items, we (the seller) agree to sell the item as is, with no option for a refund of sellers fees/taxes. Therefore, there is no way to facilitate a return, using layaway. 4. The final reason was your attitude. You threatened us in your first email, and immediately left negative feedback. If, you would have asked nicely, and NOT started off by using threats, we would have been glad to work something out. Of note, filling a chargeback will result in criminal charges filled against yourself (possession of stolen property). With all that being said, if certain conditions were to be met, we would be open to working with you. Please contact us during our normal hours of operation.
