    I had a Home owners policy that was fully paid at the beginning of the one year term. I canceled it two weeks before the renewal date by email and the agency acknowledged . Two months later I get an email from the agency asking for payment on the policy that I canceled and it was attached to my cancellation email. I responded that I canceled two months earlier and they responded as the attached email right in front of them shows. Two months later they put me in collections. I was told by the office by email that my policy renewed in Oct. not Aug. I told them no I signed ** in Aug. 2021 to Aug 2022 as my policy says. They asked to see my paperwork from my new Ins. carrier and said in an email if I wanted to resolve this matter I had to provide them with it. My information between me and my new carrier is none of their business, I asked them to check dates on my policy with them and what dates did they have? They couldn't give me an answer. Strange how Allstate could not tell me what date their records show my policy started and ended at this point. Allstate changed my renewal date and put me in collections. I provided them and the collections agency with my Allstate policy and my new policy as requested with Aug. dates on everything and have not had a response let alone an apology from these people.

    I'm sorry for the frustration you went through with the cancellation of your mobile home policy. Thank fully we were able to resolve your issue and your collection bill has been resolved
