This is the worst, scam advertising company I've ever dealt with. Charged me over 8k and 0 patients sent to us. I've emails from them saying " soon your office will be packed". Not a single person showed up using their flyers and post cards and when I asked to cancel their useless advertisement campaign, they would not do it, blaming it on printing schedule, but in reality they had no one wanting to fill the spot. Dealing with them was a mess, always trying to rush things last minute. Dying business, hope you join the rest of business that are now irrelevant because of the way you handle your customers.

I recently purchase a voucher for a local restaurant and when I went to use it there was a large sign on the restaurant door saying they would no longer accept ***** Companys voucher and to get a refund from them. The restaurant informed us that ***** continued the promotion without telling them. Fine we ate there and then I contacted ***** for a refund. ***** only woould offer us a credit but not a full refund.I feel that ***** is selling vouchers to people under false pretense. They take the money from consumers and s**** over the businesses with false advertising. The business refuses to accept the voucher but ***** keeps your money to use on another possible fake voucher. The restaurant gets nothing accept advertising and couldnt afford to continue the promotion. I have heard of the same issue from other local restaurants where I live. If they are selling these vouchers in good faith they should refund the customers money.

If I could give -5 stars I would! As a small business owner one of my first mistakes was going with local flavor. They promise you the world, but when you sign up with them you start seeing the ugly truth. First of all the promises of new customers when they sell up to 5 coupons to one individual ? I see the same people using an ad meant for new customers. Second to boost their own sales they use a third party companies to sell the coupons which was never disclosed. I had also opted for one of their online ads which was the biggest scam!! I live in the area and I got ads through different companies which I regularly see on my devices, but never have I seen my clipper ad, neither have my customers. I highly don’t recommend working with this company as a business. And for consumers just know if you are buying coupons from this company it only aids them and hurts local businesses.

Local flavor is a very unethical company. There is a restaurant called dominican sabor in syracuse NY which had been closed for going on 5 months now, all while still selling certificates. I have already had 2 certificates expire and have 2 more still valid but when I asked then for an exchange because the restaurant is closed they denied it and said they would not. The worst part is they are fully aware the restaurant is closed based on complaints. But yet shamelessly promote the business. Just today I received an email with the subject "50% Off at Dominican Sabor? Yes, Please!" So all while they know the business is closed and denying any types of exchanges to customers they are still promoting this closed business and receiving money for it. I will soon contact the local news about this scam. And shame on local flavor or still promoting this closed business all while receiving their commissions from people purchasing them based on their misleading and lying emails. And they have the nerve to respond to reviews here basically saying it's in the terms and conditions that they can scam us.

After attempting to use a dining cert at a restaurant in Syracuse NY which has been closed for 3 months now for "updating" yet only stays open for catering, we asked for a refund. The answer - "no". Asked again but this time for "exchange" - the answer was "no". They insist they are reopening and no exchanges allowed. They continue to sell Dominican Sabor Local Flavor certs. Scam alert!

This consumer was informed that the policy he agreed upon was for confirmed business closures. This merchant only confined a temporary closure for renovations and stated they were not out of business. Being he is outside the 14-day refund policy he agreed upon, he is required to hold on to the deal until the merchant re-opens, who stated all deals would be redeemed once that happens. He does not have a credit option until we legally have the out-of-business confirmation which we do not have and is part of the TOC he agreed upon

I only used the service once.. but immediately after I signed up and gave my phone number I started getting these weird scam text about how the government is going to give me money and all other common phishing scams. I get at least three daily and no way to stop them.. I now know that this company sells all your information and believes that is how they make their money. If could go back in time I would never sign up for this local deal with them again. Big deal, I saved three dollars but trying to get rid of all these scam calls and texts daily is impossible..Stay away.
