    Avoid **** *** and his companies: A-1 ********************************************* Services LLC, On-*********************, and Laz Coating LLC. He claims one is his sons, but hes the main contact for all three. Its hard to find consistent reviewslikely intentional. Theres a reason he has an F rating on the Better Business Bureau.I paid **** $7,500 on 12/2/24 for concrete work (sidewalk, stairs, trash pad, and cleanup). I asked multiple times if it was too cold to pour; he insisted they were professionals and would use accelerants. Then, on the day of the pour, while the crew was actively working, he tried to upcharge me $2,950 without warning. I refused, and he agreed to honor the original quote.From 12/2 to 1/27, he ignored me completely. I left a review on 1/27; **** contacted me asking me to remove it and promised to finish the work. I refused until the job was done. He scheduled to return on 2/1then no-showed. Same thing on 2/3 and 3/1. 2/8 was weather-related, but he never followed up. He finally came 3/22, reinstalled my fence gates, and poured the trash padbut the garage steps are still misaligned, the pad is discolored, concrete splatter remains on my home and fence, and the topsoil (agreed on in Nov 2024) was never added.I followed up on April 21, 25, and 28. He said hed come 5/3, but no-showed again. This was the fourth time he no-showed, each time I took off work from my job to be present, and he just decided not to show up, on days he picked out. I reached out 5/4 and 5/7no response. On 5/15, I informed him Id be filing this report.This isnt just frustrationI have photos and messages proving everything. After researching further, I found many reviews on Thumbtack, BuildZoom, and Networx telling the same story. Im now forced to pursue legal actionnot just for myself, but because this behavior has gone unchecked for too long. Avoid him at all costs.
