Outstanding! ****, of *****, was the second ****** I called about a broken boiler, after reaching out to one of the big companies that receives a lot of praise on local listserves. **** fixed the problem at less than half the price of what the other company had quoted me and not because he performed lower quality work. To the contrary, **** was able to proceed less expensively because he is a master problem solver. Whereas the other company was going to start with the more expensive treatment, and in the process replace more than what was necessary, **** found a more direct route to a solution. His doing so makes him a genius, or it makes the other company dishonest, or both! (A bigger company also has more overhead, and so has to charge more.) **** provided the estimate yesterday and fixed the problem today - no wait to get on his schedule. He was patient and informative throughout, answering all of my questions. You can tell he is a completely straight shooter. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

On one of the hottest days of the year my central air was on the ***** and I was certain it would take days for someone to come look at it. But within one hour of calling, *** came to my house and went above and beyond what I expected. He not only fixed the problem, he followed up later to check on it and came back the next day to tie up some loose ends! His bill was also lower than expected, which in todays world is SHOCKING! As a local TV News reporter I cover shady business people all the time, but the guys at J and M are some of the best around! *****************************Review fromCheryl H

I highly recommend J&M Heating and Cooling. They are awesome to work with and do excellent work. **** answered my call and came out the same day to check the job out and give me an estimate. He took the time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. He replaced my hot water heater, central air unit and converted my heater from oil heat to natural gas all at a reasonable price. It was a pleasure to work with someone who you can trust, is honest, professional and courteous. I recommend this company without hesitation.Review fromWilliam D

Just had my house heater, HW heater and A/C replaced. These guys were awesome - their work was meticulous (you could tell they were proud of their work), they were fast and efficient, kept a clean work area, kept to their time commitments, took the time to explain what they were doing and why, and all for a fair price. And then they diagnosed and fixed a leak I didn't know I had in my mini-split AC & heating system (installed a few years ago by another contractor). Highly recommended!
