      HORRIBLE service. It shouldn't take two weeks to make a transfer from a company 401k to a personal IRA. In the time of ETF's and wires, this should take 3 days max! When I complained, the answer was, this is our std process. Well fix the outdated process! They apparently couldn't care less. and this wasn't from the peon. I would recommend ANYBODY else.

      The company I work with was recently transitioned to Ascensus. Really bad customer service. Before the transfer, it was easy to reach someone to have any questions answered quickly and efficiently. At Ascensus, it is impossible to get in touch with anyone. You will simply be on hold for eternity....

      The worst company I’ve dealt with. They keep charging you for work they barely complete and you have to do all the data collection. Their data sets are not updated so you have to start from scratch with the census every year. After plan termination in May 2023, due to sale of my business they charged me twice for plan termination and yearly services in full. A bunch of thieves!!!

      The worst customer experience imaginable. 1.5hr hold times to speak with the "Customer Care Team" should be the we dont care team. The supervisor/specialist shutting down my companies account specialist... did not even think that kind of wait was a bad thing.... plus the company drags its feet with endless excuses why they cannot distribute the $ to my employees and terminate the plan.... oh and charge 1800 dollars then cash the check and then say they didnt get it for 2 weeks after it cleared. Poorly run, miserably administered and managed company..... I would NOT sign up for their services..... They bought PAI which was a GREAT company and have ruined the experience. Too bad I cannot give ZERO stars.

      0 stars, but since I must leave one. I am filing a complaint with the **** against this company. They seem to play games with folks hard earned money. Its unfortunate that they haven't already been investigated to the point where an audit was conducted. I'm also looking to start a lawsuit or join one ongoing.

      Got them all the information needed for filing my Form 5500 eight months ago, and they still haven't done it. These people are terrible. They rarely respond back to email in a timely manner. They do nothing else in a timely manner. I literally don't understand what they believe they do to earn what I am forced to pay them.

      This company is a third party company that has no customer service skills and does not care about humanity. There business ethics out poor and they tell you the same story everytime you call them they leave cases unfinished for months never use future plan cause your future will be a disaster if you use this company.

      Our plan just migrated from *** (which was amazing) to Ascensus. So far, I have not gotten instructions to set the company site up. I have called and was on hold the first time for 1 1/2 hours and the second time for 2 hours. I finally left a message both times days ago with no response. I cannot even add employee deferrals since I cannot get a hold of anyone. I contacted our broker who also was on hold for 2 hours and left a message. They have not been called back either. This is a ***** contrast to the service we were getting and we expect. I suspect we won't be with them long.

      I am the Plan Administrator for my company. We just got transferred from *** to Ascensus. **************** is horrible!! I need help with a very important issue and I've now been on hold for 44 minutes and counting. When I called earlier today, I got answered after holding 36minutes. Absolutely unacceptable!

      Wow, I wish I had researched this ahead of time and made my own choice on a change of record keepers! TERRIBLE experience. My previous ******** was great. Ascensus is a nightmare. They acquired my previous ******** PAI. They botched the electronic signature forms, sending the same thing multiple times, causing great confusion. Then they required a change in login credentials, which I did, and made the contributions I was unable to make during the transition because the old login no longer worked. Tried logging in a second time later that day, no luck. Tried the forgot password option, message returned you user does not exist. WHAT!? tried calling to get corrected: inappropriate prompts, wrong number called, disconnected on call transfers, etc, at least 7 calls and absolutely no progress!! Stay away, far far away!Will be contacting EBSA and DOL regarding this company's confiscation of our plan!
