    Carter's uses deceptive and false advertising on its website. and in promotional emails For instance the 2023 Labor Sale states "HURRY! EVERYTHING IS 50% OFF!" However, "everything" is definitely NOT 50% off. There are no exclusions listed and the term "everything" is pretty straightforward - it means EVERY thing. Yet "Everything" is definitely not 50% off, and many items are not discounted at all. As a specific example, I put a child's raincoat in my cart and at checkout, no discount at all was applied. Searching online I found a class action lawsuit from a few years ago against Carters for this issue. Clearly nothing has changed and the company continues its deceptive and misleading advertising of "sales". I will take my business elsewhere but this corporation should face legal penalties for its blatantly false and misleading advertising.
