This gas station has suddenly decided to place a $125.00 hold on my PNC card after pumping gas on 05/10/2025. The customer service for ********************** stated very rudely that it was PNC that placed the hold and to go look at the pump at the station to read for myself. *** states it's the gas station GET GO that places the hold. This is very frustrating for a consumer to be blindsided by this company's policy which isn't displayed in a predominate location. This policy is very new, I have used this location numerous times before and never once was there a hold placed on my card.Review fromElena S

I was shopping in store at around 1:20 PM today and I saw a bunch of employees gossiping together right in front of the customers by self-checkout. I heard one employee named ******** or Caitlynn (I cant remember the name tag) specifically talking bad about another employee in produce who was visiting and gave her a hug. She told the other employees that he smelled really bad. They all were laughing and not even trying to whisper or keep it quiet. I was trying to walk past them and they wouldnt even move out of the way and continued gossiping about other employees in the store. Quite unprofessional and clearly there is bullying going on in this store that needs to be addressed.Review fromTWANNA A

I have visited the Giant Eagle Get go on two different occasions. First on Sunday 04-27-25. The clerk name is *****. I was getting gas andsome of the currency I was using was change. ***** REFUSED TO TAKE THE $2 IN CHANGE! Stated that she had to much change to count down @ the end of the night and she was not taking any more. I called the next morning to Giant Eagle corporate the next morning and spoke with **** and filed a complaint. I also went into the store the next morning and spoke with a gentleman by the name of ***** (store manager). He stated that he would get this handled. I was not looking for anything but ***** game me a $25 gift card. Later that evening I went back to Giant Eagle get go and ***** was working again and again she refused to take the $2 in change. While there I called the store and spoke with a **** and **** put me on hold for about 20 min. stated that she was talking to ***** about this situation on the phone. **** never came back to the phone so I went into the store and spoke with **** her response was "we can't make her take the money" my question is how is it that ***** can dictate how you pay for your gas? I again called corporate and spoke with ******** she found my first complaint and added the second complaint and stated that she would send it to the district manage. **** also stated that the get go employees does not work for Giant Eagle. When I called corporate again ******** stated that get go is still with Giant Eagle as of yesterday. If anyone goes to the get go in *********************** and you experience customer service with ***** she is nasty and rude. Maybe she is a relative of a manager or something, because management let her get away with anything obviously. Do better Giant Eagle in ********* because your employee is TRASH!Review fromBonnie R.

Poor customer service with the manager ***** today. I purchased a gift card for my son here today. When either during removing the label to reveal the barcode to scan or removing the gift card from the package, the number was damaged, leaving the cardboard gift card unusable. I immediately went back to see if another gift card could be issued. Upon inspecting the damaged gift card thoroughly for about 5 minutes ***** informed me that he could not loose any money and therefore could not help me. He then proceeded to tell me to call the 800 number for corporate. I immediately called corporate. The supervisor I spoke to was completely shocked that ***** didnt just simply issue me a new gift card, which he could have easily done. Needless to say, I will not be loosing any more of my money here at the white oak Giant Eagle. Since ***** couldnt loose any of his money for me.Review fromDL W

A "one star rating" is too high!!!! On July 1, I had 2 clipped online coupons that would expire that day. I made a special trip to GE to use the coupons. The coupons were not deducted at checkout. Since the ONE AND ONLY CUSTOMER SERVICE rep was "on break", I called from my home. The rep said she had been told "once the quota is met, the coupons are pulled from the account," and suggested I contact "Corporate". The first "Corporate" person pretended to be shocked and said he would forward the situation to people of authority. He then transferred me to the "Tech Team" for the reason the coupons were not applied. The second person was NOT on the tech team, but issued a credit and indicated somebody from the tech team would call me. I laughed and said: "RIGHT!" I told him my response was to his statement that somebody would call me. When he reassured me I would get a call, I told him I will be contacting the Ohio AG's office if I did not hear from somebody in a reasonable time. (While this conversation was going on, the local rep was trying to call me.) I returned the call to the local GE, where the rep offered a credit to my account. I told her that Corporate was applying a credit. Neither the "tech team" nor Corporate ever called, so on July 15, I called the AG's office. Since I had been issued a credit, they could not help me, but referred me to the BBB, which said the same thing. HOWEVER, the BBB forwarded this form to me so that it could be posted online. I am so tired of GE's game playing!!! EVERY GE CUSTOMER MUST CHECK THEIR RECEIPTS AND REWARDS INFO AFTER EACH AND EVERY PURCHASE MADE AT A GIANT EAGLE. This complaint is NOT directed toward the employees but to "CORPORATE" staff. Get your act together before you find yourselves needing to close your stores...not that it would be a great loss to your customers, but your employees work VERY HARD to try to keep things running smoothly while trying to feed their families at your prices!!!Review fromRuth J.

I was shopping at your store this morning and am furious at what I found to be a deceptive practice. In the produce section you have a large area where you have 3 baskets, one of zucchini, one of eggplant, and one of yellow squash. The sign says zucchini or yellow squash $1.79 lb. It does not list eggplant or its cost. The way you have this displayed it leads one to believe the eggplant is the same price as the squash. With my groceries I put an eggplant in the cart and completed my shopping. At the register I was charged $4.60 for that single eggplant. I asked the cashier to have the price checked. The produce girl came to the cashier and said the price was $2.99 per pound. I told the cashier, ************, to remove the eggplant from my order and that I believe this was a deceptive practice whereby many people may have bought an eggplant and if not watching the slip, paid more than they would have if aware of the $2.99 cost. For customers, it is difficult enough to navigate prices, but when stores make it all the more deceptive, we have to consider shopping at places that we can trust aren't trying to pull a fast one. Please change this practice. I will stop back in your store at another time and check to see if you have corrected this deception.Review fromTroy P
