    Agreed with many of these reviews that they price *****. I was quoted over $3,000 for services that another plumber completed in one hour and charged me $400 for. Thats insane!! Im so happy I was smart enough to not fall for their exorbitant pricing but am really hoping no one else does either. This is honestly so sad that a company would try to take advantage of people this much.

    Gillece is a no remorse price gouging company. They charged me ******** for an ******* boiler and install. I would not have done this had I known sooner. So now the fight is on the get the price severely reduced. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone. It was very cold outside when our boiler stopped working. The service / sales guy showed up the same day and quoted us ******** for the boiler and install. When I was finally able to contact another company, they told me I paid ********* too much. Don't waste your time with them. How do they sleep at night ?

    Untruthful ads and terrible customer service. Scheduled them to install dimmers based on a TV ad and service *** scheduled a technician. When he arrived suddenly there was no special and so they retrieved my call from the call log and agreed they (********) had made a mistake. When the technician was rescheduled they again tried to tell me there was no special and I would need to pay additional for the services. Absolutely horrible people to deal with will completely go back on their commitments.

    Heat wasn't not working right but it was mildly there, I called Gillece and they "rewired" my smart thermostat hoping that would fix it (expensive). It didn't but I wasn't home to test and the wife didn't notice before he left.I called again and got them back in, the found the contactor was shot and said it was $800 to fix. The heat was working at this point, since the contactor was stuck on and AC was running with the heat. Installer killed the board when he installed the contactor. Heat now was officially dead and they suggested a new board at my expense. I cannot prove the board was not damaged before this mess considering my initial issue so I'm at their mercy to replace and get it running -- they said it'd be here in a day....Next day I called and no board. We're now in 20 degree weather with no heat. Thanksgiving came, I let it go. Friday I called and they said they had other emergencies. Apparently leaving me with no heat does not constitute an emergency. Saturday I called, same response, promised to come Monday.....called Monday ohhh well the tech is too busy we'll get you Tuesday. They literally left me over a week without heat on a board they fried. No one called me, management never responded, dispatcher was my only contact.I tried several times to get a technical manager on the phone and I was told they were too busy. To say they screwed me over is an understatement. All around horrible to work with, I've never been so screwed over by a contractor in my life. Several thousand dollars later I got what I needed, a week too late. See above for price gouging numbers. Had someone just called me and had an honest conversation it would've helped immensely. I was offered no call, no help, and expected to pay in full for their exorbitant pricing despite the mess they left me in. What choice did I have?

    I scheduled Gillece twice. 2 no-shows. Second time they called at 8:05said they would call later in the day 45 minutes before technician arrival. They called again at 3:35 to say technician was too busy to show. When I posted about this on next door, over 60 replies in 2 days and all were negative. Most frequent comments "You dodged a bullet" "exorbitant pricing example $20,000 estimate and second ******* fixed problem for $600"

    They are a good company. They did what they said they would do. Came out and installed a generator. It took about a week and they never left me wondering if they were coming back. They called every morning to let me know they were coming and showed up around 8.30. They stayed with the job until it was done. A lot of it comes down to the workers and how competent they are. The guys they sent were good. I really can't complain about anything, as far as the work goes. They installed it and it works. I'm told they might cost a bit more but like everything, you get what you pay for. I'm satisfied.

    Gillece Services is the worst company we have ever dealt with. They are not to be trusted and we highly recommend seeking an alternative. They are dishonest, price ***** and the owner has no ethics. In 2019 we purchased a water heater that was substantially overpriced and was much larger than what we needed. Multiple technicians and plumbers from other companies have since told us that we were "robbed". It recently leaked and they wouldn't honor the warranty in place without us incurring $1,700 of costs to install a new 3/4 PRV value and a new 4.8 Gallon Thermal Expansion Tank. These were excuses for not honoring a warranty in place until late 2025. We got a second opinion and replaced the ENTIRE water heater with an expansion tank for less than the $1,700. The service tech from Gillece said he was just the messenger from the owner. The Good Lord is going to make that owner accountable someday for his actions. In the meantime, don't enrich him any further.

    Ten days without hot water. Gillece installed the tankless gas water heater 3 years prior. After they fixed the venting that was installed wrong, it took Gillece a week talking to the manufacturer Noritz to order 3 parts under warranty. With the Gillece technician on the way, Gillece called and wanted $823.15 to install the parts. I asked her what if the parts don't fix the problem and was told that they would because the technician was working with ****** to resolve the problem. So I paid. It took 20 minutes to install the parts and they did NOT fix the problem. Finally, it was determined that the issue was the gas pressure into the water heater. Did Gillece offer even a partial refund? NO. So I paid $823.15 for labor to install parts that did not need replaced. Also, the technician took the packing slip, so I can't even tell the next plumber which parts were replaced.

    GILLECE SERVICES responded to a gas leak 5/2/24,- completed replacement of 35 feet of gas line w/i 24 hours- for $9,334.71 ($266 per foot) A week later I found out it would be covered by insurance-adjuster went out to inspect & called questioning the cost-he then sent an independent contractor to provide an estimate for the same work- The quote was $1,800 to $2,400 ($51/$69 per foot) Additional online sources suggest the cost should not have exceeded $75 per foot. The insurance company re imbursed me $2,500 for "fair market" value loss. GILLECE has NOT responded to e-mails or phone calls. It would appear this is price gouging & taking advantage of a senior citizen.

    HVAC **** did an excellent job! He clean my unit and pointed out where it is vulnerable to failure.
