    On August 1st and 2nd, Qualtek arrived to install conduit necessary for **** fiber-optic. The trench for the conduit was dug from the **** Box at the street to our home. At the time of installation, we requested care while working to avoid damage to our irrigation system. The crew Foreman assured us that they were responsible for any damage and not to worry if repairs became necessary since they are experts in this type of project. The conduit was installed and the trench filled in when the job was completed in the late afternoon of August 2nd. We received no notification of any problems. Later that evening, our automatic irrigation system began its routine cycle. Our next door neighbors called to tell us we had both a river of mud and a fountain of water gushing from our landscaping. On hearing this, we turned off the irrigation system. On inspection, it appeared that there were several broken underground pipes. Unbelievably, the **** conduit ran right between two damaged and disconnected main feeds to our irrigation system. It appears that the damage to the irrigation system was intentionally buried. Qualtek did return several times to attempt repairs on our irrigation system. However, the repair was never completed and we currently have a non-functional irrigation system. In addition, there are now 5 deep holes in our landscaping that are an extreme safety hazard. Unfortunately, communication with the contractor has been exceptionally poor. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone calls and text messages, there has been no response from their end.
