They have a 2018 5500 Ram dump truck with a snow plow on it. They said that they originally bought this truck to sell, but decided to use it to plow snow. Now that they want to sell it they are asking 59k. I asked if they would lower the price to the depreciation value because it was used as a work vehicle with advanced damage to the front end from using the snow plow, not to mention it doesnt have power seats, the back up camera doesn't work and the salt that was in the dump surely caused deterioration. They proceeded to tell me that it's different for a car lot; that it's referred to as "inventory." I would agree if they were using it as a rental to customers that have a car being worked on by them, but this is different. They use it to do work that causes wear on a vehicle 10x faster that a normal work truck. This shows me that they utilize loop holes in the law to not have to pay for someone to remove snow from their lot, while claiming it as inventory. What else might they be getting away with?!

On their web page they have a 2023 Dodge *********** **** Truck Black in *olor listed with the price of $58,275. Yesterday I drove to the dealership with intentions of buying this truck with my checkbook in hand. I was greeted by ****** when I arrived. We spoke for a few minutes then proceeded to take the mentioned Truck for a test ride. Once back at the * Harper Dealership in ************* we went inside to discuss the purchase. She went to get that information from her sales Manager and when she came back with the information the truck was now $61,644 ?? So I brought this to her attention and she pulled up their web page to see this truck clearly listed for sale at $58,275. She goes to her sales manager, who then came to me and said he cannot sell me the truck for the price clearly stated on the screen. He says, " Oh that's a mistake " . I then got up and walked out of the showroom without creating a fuss and drove off the lot. When I came home later that day I looked and the truck was still posted with the selling price of $58,275. I did write and send an e-mail to a *********************************, who is Director of Sales with * Harper, yesterday afternoon with no reply back . I also have a screen shot of the above mentioned truck directly from their web listing clearly showing the price of $58,275. As of this morning, the price has now been changed again to $61,644.

We appreciate your feedback and understand your frustration with the pricing discrepancy you encountered on our website during your recent visit. We sincerely apologize that you didn't receive the easy car buying experience that you deserve, and that we strive to provide. Your input is invaluable, and we would like to provide some insights into the situation.First and foremost, we would like to acknowledge that our website has been experiencing major issues, and we have been diligently working to resolve these technical challenges. Unfortunately, this issue resulted in incorrect pricing information displayed on our website. Regarding the 2023 Dodge *********** **** Truck that you mentioned, the initial price of $58,275 was indeed the result of a technical glitch and should not have been listed at that value, much like the $70,000 truck that was priced at $500. Our intended price for the vehicle was meant to reflect our actual cost, as it is a demo unit, in line with our established pricing model. This price should have been $62,644. We offered a price of $61,644 and included a complimentary bedliner in an attempt to make up for the mistake. This is the price that we provided on the quote. We would also like to draw your attention to the disclosure on our website: "Value shown is a sum of guaranteed Dealership Discount & applicable FCA Manufacturer Incentives. Please consult with a Salesperson regarding any concerns or questions." This disclosure is in place to ensure transparency and open communication with our customers regarding pricing matters. We deeply regret the confusion and inconvenience you experienced due to this error. Unfortunately, our sales team did not handle the situation as we would expect, and we are actively addressing this issue with our staff to improve our customer service. As for the email you sent to *********************************, Director of Sales, we apologize for the delay in response. Drove an hour to have them look at my rear ended 2023 Mustang Mach-E ******* AWD so we coudl discuss trade on a Mach-E **** they had on the lot for $6,000 off. During talks, they said at first I'd get around $45k for trade. Then it was closer to $44k. Meanwhile I helped them to realize a mistake in the **** pricing where it should only be $3k off, not $6k. They said they would honor the $6k, and I had to run out of there to get home to pick the kids up off the bus.The very next day I get a call they can only give me $39k for my trade. They were getting paid by the insurance to do the repairs and the Mustang Mach-E (MME) ******* is the best selling trim. Not one used 2023 ******* is listed for under $47k within 500 miles. ** while they claimed to stick to their word on the $6k off, the quickly turned my trade-in around to get me to drop that sale.

If I could make this -10 stars, I would! I have been leasing for a few years through C. Harper. Leasing has always been a great experience. However, I had an unfortunate personal event take place in my life and had to terminate my lease early. I was sold a used car so I could lower my payments. The day after I bought this car, the engine was having issues. I called about it after the issue kept happening. They got me in a few days later to service it. They told me it needed a software update. That weekend, the car was still having engine issues and then the check engine light came on. I took back in. They told me the car had an EVAP leak, but told me the gas cap was probably loose and they turned the light off. I had someone run a test on it the the day before showing the same code and I checked my gas cap. Basically they didn't check for any issues and just turned the light off. I asked them to test it and they brushed it off. I also drove around with someone in service and pointed out the engine issues. She told me it shouldn't be doing that. But, because it didn't do it for the mechanic working on the car, he said their is nothing wrong with the car and it was my fault it was doing it. The breaks also kept grinding. I brought that up to them when I first brought it in and they told me they were new so thats normal. When I drove around with the person in service, she said that didn't sound good at all. I feel that they knew about all these issues and sold me a lemon. Then they also tried selling me another used car when they realized I was having all of these issues for an outrageous price! This company has continuously tried to gaslight me and it's only been 2 weeks since I bought this junky car. I am taking my business elsewhere and getting rid of this nightmare this weekend. I know that i'll be upside down in costs, but it'll be worth it not to deal with them again. Shame on this company for treating their loyal customers so badly! NEVER AGAIN!

Worst experience ever. Had a deal for a car and was sold from under me. No communication very rude. Never going back. I can't express enough my frustration.

The customer came in last week to look at our 2008 Impala and did not commit to buying it at that time. The customer called in after a few days stating that he was interested in buying it but wanted to go to his bank to see about financing. Our salesperson at this time informed him that we cannot hold it till he finds out and suggested to him to come in to see if he could get financed at the dealership and if so, secure the Impala. This was on the 5th of January late in the day. We did not succeed that evening and informed him we would try one more place Friday morning. The customer called us on the 6th of January before he had an opportunity to call him and spoke with our Sales Manager. Our Sales Manager informed him that he couldnt get him financed, and the customer asked if we could hold it until next week when he found out something from his bank. Our Sales Manager told him that we couldnt do that and that we had another customer looking at the vehicle. We did sale the vehicle and it was delivered that day to the other customer.General Manager
