      This company should have an aka Hot Mess - Our service goes down frequently and, when it does, we cringe because we know the MINIMUM wait for restoration is 10-12 hours, sometimes way more. We have been without service now for over 5 hours - No weather events or car crashes, just generic BS from Customer Service that "Power outage in your community, we are working on it." This is a very small company who preys on HOA's by offering cheap packages and not delivering. Unfortunately we are part of an HOA in northern Florida that has chosen this pathetic company as their cable provider. Stay away from this company if you can, they are a nightmare on every level.

      I have Hotwire since i moved to the Community Pines West here in Florida, Oakland Park. My HOA signed a contract with Hotwire years ago and this is the only ISP and ITPV Provider which i can use. All Competitors are locked out, so i have no choice as of the Contract to stay with Hotwire. Since day 1 in February 2016 when they first installed their Service i had trouble with them. First the installation was not proper and they run the Fiber Optic Cable on top of the wall which separates 2 Properties with Patios. Second, my IPTV freezes every 2 weeks and i needed always to restart the DVR, which then solved the problem. I thought it was normal so my bad i never reported this is in the first place, so i can't complain about this. Now in March or April 2023 i was not able to login to my Ring Security System. I reported that many times to their Hotline, but i was hang up many times or i was asked "Do you have Internet" which i answered correctly that "i indeed have Internet, but not able to login to Ring". Their answer the was "you need to complain to Ring, on our side everything is ok". I just did that and Ring confirmed that my Account was not locked out, so i have to asked my ISP (Hotwire) why i can't login. I did that and long story short, the WHOLE subnet from Hotwire in our Community was blacklisted and blocked because some IP's in this subnet were attacking Servers. It took them 2.5 weeks to fix this problem, they didn't listen to me to change the subnet to our Community. After 2.5 weeks they came to the same solution and changed the subnet, and fixed it. They compensated me with an upgrade to 1GB. After they installed a new Fiber Optic Cable, this time correctly and not on top of the wall, i had several Internet Service Interruptions at least once or twice a week. They then replaced their whole Equipment which didn't solve the ongoing Problem. They pointed to my Linksys Router and installed a Backup with their Eero Router. Even their Equipment (Router) failed.

      Terrible customer service and the TV drops out continuously throughout the day. My TV service is not working on any channel and I am waiting over 30 minutes for tech support. I always thought Comcast was terrible but Hotwire has had more downtime than Comcast in one month alone

      Absolutely the worst internet and cable TV company I've ever seen in my life. The only reason they have not gone out of business is probably because communities force their residents to work with this unprofessional and unreliable company. Today is the second month I am using their internet and in this period, it has been down at least 5-6 times for extremely long periods of time. One time it was almost 2 days without internet access. Unimaginable for people who rely on the internet for work. You call customer service and it's the most unprofessional, rude and never-know-anything typical call center employee who will make you give up on trying to get any resolution because the hassle of actually speaking with someone who is willing to help and has half a brain cell is so big that they wear you out. DO NOT RECOMMEND

      Have been on multiple phone calls, app chat conversations, two techs come out with the last stating it’s a neighborhood issue. When I call they report there is no issues in the area. I pay $120 for their gig speed internet and only receive 150-180 mbps. For three weeks now my speeds have remained this slow where not even one device can use a streaming service without buffering or disconnecting. Now after getting an attitude from their billing department I’ve been on hold for approximately one hour with no response or explanation as to why it’s taking so long. I wish I knew the woman’s name who was rude and is making me wait as a power trip. There are limited ways to inform the company on this. I would like to have some type of credit and the very least have this customer service representative get a retraining. They have a monopoly in my neighborhood as they are the only ones who can provide internet in here. For what I’m paying you would expect a little more help than to be given the run around. These insanely slow speeds have also been stated by other members of the community on the Facebook page. DO NOT use them if you have another choice!!

      My community switched to this company. I came home to no internet have my son had oral surgery and needs to rest for the day . Since everything in my home depends on this wifi connection, Nothing in my home works now . As a parent having a young child at home not feeling well, it has been an absolute nightmare! Also, I can't even use my laptop to stay connected with work ! Customer service was no help. Telling me to turn it on and off . There is not a cloud in the sky , beautiful weather, it just stopped working and now it will get fixed when they can send someone. So this is definitely not a company I would recommend if you demend on internet, because once it goes out , you are out of luck ! This has been an awful experience!

      Unfortunately Hotwire was forced upon us through our HOA. We had no say in the matter or else I wouldn’t be writing this because I would have canceled them a month in. Besides the outages which are bearable and understandable for a small cable company trying to make it. Their customer service is non existent and borderline disrespectful. On top of being highly price for a low grade service. Their customer service is never willing to prorate your bills on the days you had without service. And good luck calling them to complain. You’ll just end up losing service out of no where. And in order to get it back now they have to send a technician over which will cost you of course. Not sure if they pay building to allow them to monopolize their service. Because they are over priced and complete trash.
