    I purchased a 2010 **** Flex from Starter Cars at ***************************************,
on August 8, 2024. The vehicle was inspected in July 2024 by the dealership. At the end of
August I had to replace the rear brakes and calipers. These could not have been worn out or
gone bad in less than 1 month, so the vehicle should never have passed inspection in July. At
the beginning of September, the vehicle would not start. The dealership charged me $80 to tow
it back to their lot. It was "repaired" the next day and they told me it had been missing a fuse.
Once I got the vehicle home, it again would not start. I talked to **** at Starter Cars and he
had it towed back to the dealership. They had the car for over one month. They stated it was a
relay. I did receive a loaner car during that time, but it kept shutting off. I tried to contact them on
Nov 26 but there was no answer. I left a message and they never returned my call. I called
again on the 27th, and was told they would let me know on the next Friday what was going on.
At that time they told me they were checking all the wiring. They were supposed to call me the
following week but I didn't hear from them until the week after that. I got my car back last week
and now it runs, but it now has white smoke coming from the exhaust, which I'm told is likely a
blown head gasket. I'm paying for a car that I can't drive and I can't afford to keep putting money
into it. They have lied to me since the day I bought the car. I have several witnesses to
    corroborate my story.

They came and repossessed my car and couldn’t even tell me who put in for the repossession they used the excuse that I never made a payment when in fact I paid my car entirely off starting from the first payment they tried to double bill me for to the last payment when my car was in fact paid in its entirety along with everything else that was on my credit report other than my newest school loans they spoke to me as though I was a bum I didn’t have any money and I wasn’t worth talking to they caused me pain and suffering as well as lost wages I can not make it to work or focus on my most recent courses due to the financial distress and mental anguish they put me through

    Business Response

    Date: 05/30/2024

    RE:  I* * ******** ********

The customer never made any payments on the loan.  The customer was in default under the terms of the finance contract.  The result of default of the finance contract is repossession of the vehicle.

    Sincerely,

    Scott D****
