I'd stay away! Owner was unprofessional and added $4000 in charges. The business owner, ****, does not communicate effectively and took no responsibility for his mistakes. The interstate move for our parents was an awful experience that could have been avoided. **** did not take into account emails sent well in advance of moving day and did not communicate to clear up any misunderstandings. My parents ended up paying **** over $4000 more than quoted and the move required an unplanned separate trip on a different day, due to him sending too small a truck. This caused a domino effect of problems for my parents to figure out at the very last minute. ****** explanation was that my dad was confused. However my dads emails explained all very clearly; **** was the one confused due to his lack of attention. Then it took TEN days for the 2nd delivery of their things. Instead of being apologetic, acknowledging his mistakes which we wouldve respected, **** blamed all on the customer, literally claiming nothing was his fault. Id definitely stay away from this company and go with someone more highly rated.

The customer was elderly and very confused. He shouldve had more help from the family. I gave the customer an estimate to move and do minimal packing, approximately 14 boxes. The night before the move, I talked to the customer with his daughter on speaker phone, the customer admitted to forgetting that he wanted the entire kitchen packed and I said no problem. However, when getting to the house in the morning, they wanted the entire house to be packed. We showed up with minimal packing material, thinking we were just going to be packing the 14 boxes and the added kitchen. We had to leave the house to get more packing materials. At the end of the move, we went from 14 boxes to 127 boxes. They also sent me two other estimates from different moving companies, the first company estimated packing 17 boxes, the other one estimated packing 12 boxes. This is where the extra money and time came from, which was told to them ahead of time.

Do NOT use Walks Moving & Storage (*******, **). $400 in cash that was tucked away and in a room that they were not moving furniture in was taken. They also damaged our walls. The owner was very unprofessional when reporting the issue. Police are involved.
