    THIS AGENCY PUT MY BABYS LIFE AT RISK. I hired an overnight doula. I woke up with a weird feeling and found our doula asleep on the couch with our newborn wrapped in blankets in her lap. She said something like Its common for doulas to doze. This is what we do. Sleeping with a baby on the couch, wrapped in blankets is one of the most dangerous things you can do with a baby. It is a suffocation hazard and anyone who knows about babies knows this. This doula chose to take a nap while holding my baby even though there was a bassinet and crib within 20 feet. Her denying that this is dangerous and trying to make me feel like I am misled is even more concerning.
