    Ordered drapes, drapery rod from ** ****** Custom in home Window on June 13th.....and was told several times different stories when the brackets and the finials shipped, which were missing from the order. Still waiting since July 1st that it was all in. This company is dishonest......and untruthful to their customers. This is a subcontractor of *****************......and I will never shop at ***************** again......they don't really care about their customers.....but I will get a refund for this....and this company needs to be investigated!

    Custom Decorators, **** is the primary company that "*************** In-Home Custom Window" utilizes to fulfill its custom window treatments. If you have any *************** custom window treatments from 2021 or older, you will be told that Custom Decorators can't help you with a repair because they can't look up your order. You will be told to call *************** back, and *************** will tell you that they can't help you obtain any repair for your custom draperies or blinds but recommend that you call *************** In-Home Custom Window (aka Custom Decorators) back. If you call Custom Decorators again they will tell you that they can't help you unless you have a ****** or *************************** product. Custom Decorators utilizes representatives that work from home with kids shouting and screaming in the back ground of the call. The representatives are rude and talk over you, and if you are not someone who ordered from them in the last year, or do not have a ****** or *************************** product, they absolutely can not help you. This company also has very poor (one star) reviews on ****** and more than 21 complaints on file with the BBB in the last three years. That should tell you all you need to know about them.

    In March 2022 we placed an order for shutters for our whole home. The first installation person did such a poor job, damaged walls and trim and hung the incorrect shutters. In may we had another installer come out, Re measure and re order all correct shutters. After the July install we still didnt have all the correct shutters. I have called and spoke with customer service(*******), left messages for her manager, sent emails through the customer service portal and I still do not have any resolve to this nightmare.

    Consumers beware!!! This company makes you pay in advance of a repair. I did this but really dont like to pay in advance of work to be rendered. For a reason.. I paid the $150.00 repair cost for a *************************** blind repair. They wouldnt schedule the appt unless you paid in advance. The guy came out and determined he couldnt fix it. Now Im trying to get the $150 repair cost back and its the run around. Its been over a month, still no refund. Do yourself a favor and do business somewhere else. This company has been nothing but a headache. And its almost impossible to get ahold of anyone. Youll be on hold for an hour. Take a look at the other reviews, clearly Im not alone.

    If I could put a 0 star, I would. Nothing but a nightmare. April 9th was the install of 3 door shades. Parts were missing and here we are Nov. 2nd and we are still waiting for parts. CDI never follow up, we have to keep making calls and it's always an excuse after another. We ask for compensation, there is no reply. April 28th emailed sales rep and she forwarded to the ******** Senior Regional Manager ************************* and she said she would make sure that we were looked after. May 2nd email from CDI saying order expected to ship May 4th. June 3rd called CDI, Agent said she will call us back. She did not. June 13th spoke with an agent. She will follow up with installer. June 17th installer shows up with the wrong parts. He puts in another service request. July 13th, I submitted a service request through their website cc. Regional District Manager. July 15th received an email from CDI that the parts were shipped. July 18th emailed sales rep that the issue is not being resolved. She told me to reach out to CDI. I cc. district manager. *************************. July 19th receive email from CDI agent saying which part we needed. I called her back to confirm, left her a message. July 22nd called her again, left a message and no call back. July 25th, called CDI, agent said ***** would get back to us within 24hrs. No call from *****. July 27th email from ***** that the order was submitted. Aug. 19th wrong parts came in. Sept 21st emailed district manager *************************, cc ********************* sales. No reply. We called CDI and they said the parts were ordered expedited. Oct 17th called CDI. Agent told me the parts have been ordered and should ship tomorrow. Oct 28th, I called CDI again, they told me the parts will ship today. Funny.I'll have to call back tomorrow and see what new excuses they are going to give me now. Everyone has been paid and we have not received what we paid for. They can't even offer some type of compensation. Project # *******.
