    This week someone came to my door from ecoshield pest solutions wanting me to sign up for quarterly care. I said no and he told me, my neighbor, ******** had signed up and I think he said also my next door neighbor had signed as well. I told him I wasn't interested. Then, he said he'd give me a very good deal at $189 per quarter but he also said: Don't tell your neighbors because I'm giving you a very good deal. However, a few days later, I spoke with ******** and asked her if she liked the job the pest control company did and she said: I didn't sign up for it. Now that I've been lied to, I wouldn't sign up with them EVER. I called the company about this and was told a supervisor would call me regarding this. I never heard from anyone in the company. Furthermore, they make it difficult to get in touch with the CEO or managers. There are no numbers listed. The person at my door also said ******** had ********* ants and those ants were following my fence line.

    Thursday, 4/10/2025 - Company ***resentative knocking door to door to drum up business in our neighborhood in *********. Talked to my son and name dropped a neighbor saying he worked for him and wanted to talk about what the company offers. I checked with our neighbor, and he does not have a contract with Ecoshield and doesn't know anyone from the company. Asked other neighbors and multiple had been contacted by a company *** stating either my neighbors name or other neighbors who identified no contract with the company. Have also noted on other forums in the ******* area a person or person(s) performing the same false sales tactic.Friday, 4/11/2025 came home and observed a Ecoshield pickup parked in the same neighbors driveway for a considerable period of time. I called my neighbor and he had no idea they were there. My son said that another Ecoshield *** knocked on our door again. He did not answer the door and the man left. Again, mentioned this to other neighbors and the man was again stating falsely that he was working for nearby neighbors that again said they had no contract with the company.The company's website policy on sales stats "... gold-standard customer service, our trained door-to-door sales ***resentative's objective is never to exploit, deceive, or manipulate potential customers".

    I started getting text messages about a service done for someone else, and finally they turned my phone number over to a collection agency (ARM Solutions). (I ignored the text messages thinking they were scams.)When I called ARM Solutions they quickly realized that the name on the account was different than my name. Someone put in the wrong contact *********, I called EcoShield Pest Solutions to let them know what I found out from the collection agency - in short order. I was asked to give my name, which I did; then I was asked to give my wife's name (which I did not) and the receptionist wanted to know if my wife had possibly requested the service without me knowing. I assured her we have been using a local company since 1998 and had no reason to look elsewhere.When I asked if she could please just make note of the fact that the number was wrong, she then asked me what name I was given by the collection agency. That's when I told her that if they had that information she should be able to see it too. I ended the conversation at that point and told her I needed to reach out to the BBB to report this issue. I'm still not sure I was not dealing with a scam, as I was put on hold twice.

    *****************. Claimed that pest control was quarterly but came by next day, while I was at work and sprayed the lawn again. My dog vomited after the application. Now they sent me to collections for 2 more applications that were never applied. Weeds are doing fine, even after their alleged treatment.

    I'd give a 0 if it were available. 2 different pest control companies were going door to door when we were having an ant problem. My husband signed an on-line contract for what he understood to be a one-time charge. Turns out it was quarterly for a year and his calls to cancel were met with requests for further information and an inaccurate e-mail address. They only gave us a copy of the contract after 3 months of pestering them, then it turned out there was a $211 cancellation fee. The service was minimal, spread over 2 visits because it was about to rain. It's not just the the high-pressured sales team, the whole operation is a scam. Their business license is listed as ToBeDetermined.

    This is the biggest scam for pest solutions company please make sure that you read and have the sale person explain everything before the sale person start smooth talk you and don't explain everything before you sign a contract. Make sure you ask about cancellation policy. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
