    The State of California Board of Pharmacy vs Strohecker's Pharmacy, Inc. dba Strohecker's Pharmacy; Ronald Dulwick, President, Brett Summers, Pharmacist-in-Charge

    The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.

    On December 2, 2016, the state of California Board of Pharmacy filed an accusation against Strohecker's Pharmacy, Inc. dba Strohecker's Pharmacy; Ronald Dulwick, President, Brett Summers, Pharmacist-in-Charge.

    On October 20, 2014, a California Board of Pharmacy inspector conducted an inspection of the pharmacy. It is alleged Strohecker's Pharmacy, Inc. violated various sections of the California Code of Regulations. Upon completion of the inspection, the inspector determined the following:

    Unlicensed activity, assignment of Beyond-Use-dates without written justification for the BUD, failure to prepare master formulas prior to compounding, incomplete training of compounding staff, failure to perform valid end product sterility testing, improper method of sterilization, incompetence, out-of-state discipline, failure to report recall to board, medication error, and failure to notify patients of recall.

    It is alleged Mr. Ronald Dulwick had knowledge of and/or knowingly participated in the acts or omissions alleged above.

    If discipline imposed, the Board is requesting Ronald Dulwick be prohibited from any involvement for any licensee to the permit number NRP 1806 issued to Strohecker's Pharmacy, Inc. The Board is requesting the revocation or suspension of pharmacy permit numbers NRP 705, and NSC 99432. Also, the Board is ordering the company to pay reasonable costs of the investigation and enforcement.
