The apartment complex is called ************* and is owned by Princeton Properties (or at least that's who I have to pay my rent to every month) and is is many different states of old and rotting. The floor is some fake paper printed to look like wood flooring, on top of tile that could've been replaced and increased the value of the apartment. However all of the appliances are at least a decade old, and no new ones are in sight. The manager is a facist who hates kids. And of course this place doesn't even allow for guest parking without risk of your guests being towed, you can't park backwards because the apartments don't have carbon monoxide detectors, and the porches don't even have safety rails. This place either needs entirely new management, or to just be sold to a company that actually can do something about their horrible employees.

I currently live in a building where it was bought over by Princeton Property Management. When I moved in initially, it was a mix of old and new residents from the old Property Management. As an individual who has worked in this industry I understand there will be new expectations or rules with a new Property Manager when transitioning over. However I've never experienced the following.3 months into enjoying my new apartment the company let one of their employees rent the top unit above mine.No one in the building was aware of this until this employee started to quit literally take our property over.It begin with her moving her partner she was seeing at the time into our building. They then told other residents that her and her partner have reserved parking. Although parking was at the time for tenants based on their time living on the property. She then begin to leave notes on residents cars to kick us out of our lot. She told us only residents could park in the lot but would constantly play **** residents. Tell some residents it's first come first serve while others she would tell could not park in the back. When residents begin to complain including myself because she was leaving notes on my unit door! The property manager then launched a full campaign against the residents saying we now had to pay for parking because of the drama in the lot. Drama his employee started mind you. This employee happens to live above me. Her radiator leaked on my ceiling and caused significant damage. My texts were ignored for months about this issue. While come to find out the employee got her radiator tuned up and fixed my ceiling to this day is still damaged with dry rot. It also was not serviced along with her radiator. As it has been a week with no reply from the property management I am finding myself having to use other means to get their attention. This isn't going away deal with it.

Insane they haven't been shut down. They bought our building, instantly raised fees for everything on site and added fees but then stopped all maintenance. We have homeless people in the building near daily, residents filming themselves walking to their floor and having homeless passed out in front of their door. Fire alarms ripped off walls, etc. our entire building got together and begged management for help and they actually told us it was our fault and that they were going to do nothing. One resident hold mold in their unit, I asked for work. They tried to get them to sign a 12 month lease to do the work and when they refused to switch from month to month they ghosted him and left him with have mold, nobody would return his calls or emails. Absolutely the worst slum lords I have ever rented from.

They forced me to remove my service dog lost our rental agreement and service animal agreement. Then made false claims I have been living there illegally for the past 3 years when I've been on lease rental agreement and so I can't take them to court for they have also made false claims of harassing/intimidating tenants here at River West Appartments in ****, ******. They have illegally forced me to vacate and are now trying to force my former roommates out as well. I have documentation and written letters from tenants that I have not been harassing/intimidating people. This is not legal what so ever and they have violated my tenant rights. They've also snuck into units when occupants have been asleep after business hours unannounced to snoop around. Very trashy unprofessional and cruel managers with no care for tenants or their rights. If my neighbors had their guns they would have acted in self defense against the manager that forcibly entered the units unannounced in the middle of the night.
