American hood cleaning came in and clean my hood and vent in my restaurant and they damaged it causing me $1700 in repairs and $34,000 in lost revenue they would not pay for any of it. They do not have a license they do not have insurance or a bond they are operating illegally.

This response is in regards to a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau assigned ID number of ********.
The complaint tent ********************* of Fiy Boy Brewing stated that American Hood cleaning came and cleaned their hood and damage some equipment that required $1700 in repair and $3400 lost in revenue.
In this matter, American Hood Cleaning was hired to clean fiy Boy Brewing commercial exhaust hood. After cleaning the hood, the owner complained that there was a problem with the exhaust hood after the cleaning. The owner of American exhaust Hood dispatch me (******* manager ) to their location to do a diagnostic of the exhaust hood to see if we were at fault or if we could repair damage.
After examining the exhaust hood, it was determined that I was not able to repair the damage that was claimed by the owner. The owner proceeded to hire another company to come and repair the damage that was claimed.
At that time, we agreed that whatever the cost was, we would pay for the damage. And it was greed upon that **************** with contact ******* regarding payment.
To my knowledge after the repair, **************** never contacted *******, but proceeded to contact the owner of American hood cleaning. They discussed the price of the repair which was $750. It was agreed-upon because the exhausted cleaning cost the same price that them situation would be settled with waving the cost of the exhausted cleaning. Never at any time did **************** mentioned that the repairs was an existence of $1700 and that he lost $3400 in revenue.
**************** also slandered American Hood cleaning by saying that we did not have any license or insurance, which is not a true statement. Matter fact, it is a blatant lie.
