Specifically, Clear Choice Window Cleaning claims: "You can rely on a quality service at a fair price by honest people", "We are determined to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied with our work and offer a money back guarantee", "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - Satisfaction with a job well done is important to you and to us", "We offer a 100% money-back guarantee to ensure that you will be happy with our services", "100% Money Back - We offer a 100% money back guarantee", and "We want you just as happy as we are to complete the job in the best way possible".
Advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request. When using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” the advertiser should clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to the sale which could include putting it on the seller’s website. Advertisers should disclose any material limitations on a "satisfaction guarantee" or "money back guarantee" and define, for consumers, the meaning of claims such as "lifetime guarantee".
A formal written request to substantiate these claims was emailed and mailed to Clear Choice Window Cleaning on March 29, 2022. As of April 22, 2022, there has been no response from Clear Choice Window Cleaning.
