I placed an order on the 5/16/2025 and expected it to be delivered on 5/20 for my grandpas birthday but not until the the 5/21 did I receive the notice that the gift basket is not available. Why wasnt it communicated to me sooner? Now Im given two options, one is waiting for a different basket to arrive on 5/23 or waiting for the same basket to become available and expected for 5/29! My grandpas birthday was on 5/20! That was the whole point of ordering the basket to have it arrive on time. This is absolutely the worst scenario and irresponsible by Harry & David. Very disappointing and wont order anything from them ever again!Review fromLauren C

Absolutely atrocious experience with Harry and David and their "family of brands" as the customer service *** keeps rattling off to me over and over again. I placed an order for a sympathy gift and ordered two items that totaled about $100. I paid $60 for expedited shipping to have it delivered on the specific date of a memorial. One item of the order was delivered and the other item when I checked tracking hadn't even shipped yet. I used the chat feature and was blatantly lied to and told "oh it will arrive today, the shipping info is just an estimate". I called customer service to confirm and was told it definitely would not arrive today, an that I had actually ordered from two different companies (even though i ordered from one site, with one shopping cart with one shipping fee). The first *** was kind enough to partially refund my shipping and gave me a number for the "other website" because they "don't have access to their files" even though i ORDERED FROM THE SAME SITE. I was talked in circles by the second ***resentative who refused to resolve the issue or refund my shipping. After much pushback i was offered a 15% discount on a future order and only after reinforcing how misleading the site was was a offered a 50% shipping refund. Of note, never during my checkout process did it indicate I was ordering from two distinct companies -- and I am sure this is done intentionally so that people don't realize they are essentially being scammed. This company has MISLEADING practices, do not order from Harry and David. I ordered two separate gift baskets they sent them to the same address,I did a virtual assistant to help revise the message for the correct recipient.I dont know what the point of customer service is when they cant fix an order.They make enough profit to be able to fix an order.Anyhow I will have to purchase another gift baskets elsewhere.Review fromKathleen O

I paid for expedited shipping for a gift basket to be delivered to a family in mourning before a funeral. It did not arrive on the guaranteed delivery date. I spent ************************************************************************ the delivery was delayed due to the weather (it was a sunny day at the delivery address), but would be delivered by 3pm today. When it did not arrive (again) I contacted customer service (again) and was eventually told that the basket I had ordered 3 days ago was actually out of stock all along and couldnt be delivered for another week. They sold me a product that didnt exist and charged me extra to not deliver it, then lied to me about it. By the time they admitted their (several) lies, it was too late to send anything to the family before the funeral.Review fromRenee M

Horrible experience, ordered a house warming Christmas gift for a friend for Christmas. The Christmas cactus was ok but the Candy cane amaryllis was a pot of dirt and straw, no plant showing. It finally bloomed late March! I complained and was told to order another plant for myself as an apology gift. I ordered a gardenia house plant. Months later, it has still not arrived, and I reached out again to their social media representative because I couldnt get an answer the telephone. I was told that they have no life plants at this time and to make another selection. I know that they were bought by 1- 800 flowers so how do they not have any plants? I chose a lavender wreath to put in my bedroom instead of a plant for my table and to date I have not received it either. I reached out today to complain again because this has been going on since December and today, I was told that I will be notified when my order is ready to ship, but they cant give me a date. Apparently they have no items readily available. I will never order from Harry & Davids again and I will never recommend them to anyone. Additionally, I will never order from ***** flowers again because they own this company that has zero customer service.Harry & David

We received a gift of 6 months of one chocolate delivery per month. Overall I would rate the chocolates okay. Today we received the chocolate covered cherries and they are terrible. The chocolate was very dried out like it was old and the taste rated a negative 1. Very disappointed with this company and would not recommend as a gift item for anyone.Review fromChris tiana C

These people claim to have the strongest guarantee in the business - God help us! Do not believe it for 1 minute. Maybe you won't waste as much time as I have and be as terribly disappointed as I am.If I could leave a negative # of stars, I would. I am still in the middle of trying to deal with these callous, hypocritical incompetents, who have apparently never heard that actions speak louder than words. If I have to listen to one more liar read me a script about how much s/he feels my pain and understands my frustration and is going to do whatever s/he has to do to make things right, I just may become ********** of this writing, I have made 6 attempts to try to get anything even vaguely resembling customer service from these people, and I have been unable to get in touch with anyone who actually understands English and/or is even able to do simple math. I have received 3/4 of my order, and part of it is wrong. ** **** absolutely refuse to let you speak to a supervisor, and the email addresses from which they contact customers are 'no reply', which they do not bother to let you know until after you try to email them...I guess that would probably be just a bit too much like honest and right for these ******** one point, on day 2 of this thus far week-long debacle, I received a phone message after having completed an online survey they sent me. The woman who called did not even have my name right, she could not pronounce her own name clearly enough for it to be understood, and both the phone number and the reference number she left were conveniently ******************* this point, it looks like my only option is to contact my state's ********* and see if they can do anything or suggest any other avenues to pursue.Review fromDr E

Canceled order after delivery was delayed and would not be delivered on time. Someone at Harry & David used the credit card number and fraudulent charges were placed on my card. 6 mos later they keep sending me bills and even though fed ex shows package as not delivered. I called yet again spoke with ****, she states no record of my previous calls. I asked how you can you have a record of this call and not the others? Then she said she wasnt going to go through all the calls. This company is shady. Received a "gift" from my friend for Christmas. Fruit was ROTTEN"! cookies were hard not eaten. Called for replacement, spoke. Many times to incompetent staff. They also called the person who gifted to me. Spent her hard earned money for what is seen as garbage! It wasn't till FEBRUARY that they sent replaced fruit. They promised candy basket instead. Never came either. Promised replaced fruit all through *************** sent. After me and my friends multiple phone calls over a month 1/2 something finally sent to replace fruit but nothing else. ****************. Don't waste your $$! Ridiculous! Poor customer service as well. Embarrassing at best!
