Short story I asked for tanks to be dumped -they tried to dump them when everything was frozen I expressed concerns that my trailer wasn't winterized -i was told it would be ok cause it would be in a heated shop when it infact wasn't and froze My batteries were dead when I picked up the trailer The main problem I brought it in for (a window leak) wasn't even fixed I was charged for services I never approved that were well over $500

When the unit was brought in, it was assessed, estimated and stored indoors upon arrival. This was originally going to be an insurance claim. We were unable to process this claim on insurance as it is not an insurable incident. Due to the leaks in the trailer, we did replace the ** gasket to try and prevent water intrusion - as we were still awaiting a verdict and had other leaking units needing urgent repair. We do not have enough room indoors to store all of the vehicles awaitingr repair indoors. The trailer had to be moved outside, to make room for other vehicles that were ready to be repaired. Thus, it waited outside while we were anticipating approval to perform some scale of repairs. When we finally had approval, the temperatures outside had dropped. The first thing we did was dump the tanks, which at the time were frozen and we did not get all of the material out - we only charged $50 for this which is normally charged at $175 as a standard dump and flush. We wanted to reseal the entire trailer, and gave a quote for such - however, customer did not want to reseal the entire trailer (I left a note in the repair order about being unable to guarantee the trailer was leak-free due to not taking care of all of the sealants) due to the cost to do so. So, we did the bare minimum that the customer did approve at the end and upon picking up the trailer, customer reported the tanks were not dumped and there was still a leak present. We did offer to take the trailer back and follow up on the repairs but the customer did not accept this resolution and instead requested a refund - which, I ended up refunding $100 for the gasket replacement (which we never charged the customer for the materials) and seal of the apparently still-leaking window, and $50 for the dumping of the tanks. This customer has already received a refund and we have offered to repair anything we have previously repaired that has failed.

My old Dometic 3-way refrigerator stopped working when on propane, forcing me to find a shore power source every night as I drove across the country from ******* to ******** to keep my food from spoiling. I had been looking for an RV repair shop or service that could locate the necessary parts for a 16 yr old and repair it, but it is not easy to locate such parts. When I reached ********, I found a listing for *****'s RV Repair that looked promising. I phoned ***** on his mobile and he said it would be best if I brought my van into the shop (about 30 min away) to have *****, his most experienced refrigerator technician, take a look and see what is needed. On Monday I drove my van to the shop, and within 20 minutes, ***********************, his co-worker, had the refrigerator opened up and diagnosed. It was a 16-year-old coach, and the parts were not easy to find. *********************** advised me to bite the bullet and get a new refrigerator to get all the issues fixed. They located an exact replacement model Dometic refrigerator. The next day they had brought the new refrigerator in from their distributor and I brought my van back to the shop; they removed and replaced the refrigerator within 1 1/2 hours and the propane burner worked perfectly meaning I was free from needing shore power to keep my food cold. I thought they did an excellent job and had great attitudes and were great to work with. I would definitely use *****'s RV Repair in ******** for future RV repair needs. My only caveat would be that get the price of the repair in writing so there would be no surprises at the checkout counter. But *******, the office manager, worked hard to find ways to pare the bill down close to the original estimate. She, ************************ were each easy to work with and made my experience a good one.
