If you are looking to have a new home built, steer clear of **** Davis Construction, purchased a newly built 3-story home in *******, ** based on our realtors recommendation. Big mistake, a year and 5 weeks later, we started having flooding coming through the ceiling in the garage from the second floor. Reached out to the builder and they wouldnt provide any assistance and ignored my calls and texts. Had to figure out on my own what was causing the water damage, eventually found an HV** technician who came out and cut holes in the ceiling and walls and found they had not connected the ** drain inside the walls and was not up to code. The water from the ** was draining into the walls and then through the ceiling causing nearly $20,000 in damage. Reached out to the City of ******* and they confirmed the ** and plumbing was not up to code. Numerous other new homeowners experienced similar issues. This builder cut corners to build cheap homes not up to code, now left with $20,000 in repairs for a year old home and having to explore legal options to try and recoup costs. If you are looking to build or purchase a newly constructed home, do your research and if it is a **** Davis Construction project, know it is a poorly constructed home.

The materials chosen for these "homes" are not only the cheapest, but they're bordering code violations. You will want to take a look at the home if possible as it's being built to see the unsafe framing, dangerous electrical and plumbing, and roofing. The absolute cheapest finishes are just eye sores, but the other items are actually dangerous. This builder is a slum-lord that targets poor income communities and preys on small city governments to manipulate and avoid appropriate building requirements. He probably promises fat tax bases but only at the expense of overpriced Temu quality shelters. I tried to voice my displeasure with the guy the other workers pointed out to me who said he's the superintendent. The superintendent was intoxicated every time I spoke with him. He was loud and obnoxious and said obscene things. This is my personal experience with him, but I would prefer I had no experiences with someone obviously struggling at all things. I guess, like the building materials, they pay for sloppy messes.

Our home is 5 yrs old. Like the other posts, we have numerous issues due to poor workmanship. Gutters have had to be replaced because they were installed wrong and were sloping the wrong way and overflowing The plumbing in the laundry room was not installed properly and had to be fixed. The pad under the carpet was the cheapest there is ( per an installer)Which causes the carpet to wear out faster. Everything about our **** DAVIS house (which our real estate agent went on and on and on about), screams CHEAP quality. These are just a few of the issues encountered . I would SERIOUSLY , and I MEAN SERIOUSLY CONSIDER, how bad you want your home if its a **** DAVIS home.We would NOT buy another house built by this builder. I would NOT recommend this builder. Not interested in quality, just quantity and making a fast buck.Being a member of the Better Business Bureau also tells me something about a business, although not always necessary. This builder is not a member.

Poor home quality. Shotty and sub-par contractors assigned to do the work. Cheapest bud got the job all at the new home owners expense...Issues all over new home. Neighbors all have a running list of problems with their homes. Do NOT purchase one of these homes.
