  Nacho was suppose to remove old flooring, replace old particle board with fresh **** level floor for luxury vinyl plank (***), and install ***. They used floor scrapers to remove the old particle board without removing the shank nails first. While this made quick work of the task, it also resulted in damage to the plank subfloor beneath particle board and broke a couple bathroom tiles that weren't part of the project. They didn't use sawhorses when cutting the **** instead cutting into the boards beneath it and at one point our cement patio.Next, they don't know how to lay vinyl plank. The first room, half the planks had already been cut to size and just needed to be laid back down (we had started on this room before hiring Nacho and stopped half-way when we realized the floor wasn't level enough to prevent pops). I explained this to him before leaving for work. I returned home to see he had cut these planks to lay them in a subway tile pattern, where every other row of *** started with the same length board. This creates a noticeable and unattractive pattern that draws the eye, which is why you don't lay *** this way. He didn't use off cuts of the *** he cut, resulting in a high waste percentage.The last straw was when he poured self-leveler without sealing the cracks between OSB or using a primer on the **** It's literally in the instructions on the bag. So self-leveler siphoned down the cracks between the **** outside around the foundation of our house, and into the crawlspace where pools of it knocked down ***** of insulation. The moisture from the self-leveler absorbed into the top portion of the new **** causing pieces to swell up as the surrounding cement dried into a thin, bumpy, uneven layer which later cracked into large useless sheets. This is where he left us.That's at least the worst of it. Other ***** issues include not cleaning the work site and leaving pee on the side of my toilet every time they worked. Do not let them touch your house.
