Today I go into cash in some cans. I see a lady not question two or three people that went before me, but she bombarded melike a police officer about to write me a ticket asking me for my Oregon state issued ID and receipts proving that I bought the cans in Oregon. Like what do I need to do to be able to cash in these cans? Keep every single paper receipt I get? Who does that? I offered to show my ******* app and that wasnt sufficient enough. She needed paper receipts. Those type of receipts fade over time. So whats the point in keeping when theyre not readable? Ive never been questioned like a hardened criminal like that over some cans. I go there at least once every 2months. I live in one of the bordering towns. Where else am I gonna shop besides maybe *******, Winco or the Albertsons in ******* Oregon. But to selectively pick who they ask and dont ask for identification I feel like thats discrimination. Ive never had a problem going there before until today. Everywhere you go theyre gonna charge you $.10 a can I kinda like to recoup that back? Wether its legal or not that they do this to people, I think its wrong, especially for the people that live on the border of *******, Oregon and shop in ******* I mean where else are people gonna go to shop if they live on the border towns? Isnt the whole point of recycling is to help the earth as much as we can? People are just gonna get to the point of feeling to heck with it if I dont get my feedback then its just gonna go in the regular garbage. I think that maybe the business didnt anticipate as many people trying to get their ********************************************************************************************* their bottles. Then how about Oregon makes a thing to where if your shopping in Oregon and buy something that charges the 10 deposit fee, then you should be able to show your Idaho id and that fee is taken off your purchase!

On multiple occasions employees have severely shorted the counts of cans within individual bags. Additionally, I have had complete bags not counted on at least three separate occasions. Very frustrating as ****** has somewhat monopolized the recycling of cans and bottles on a mandatory deposit charged to residents without an honest return process.

I feel sorry for their employees; Very little say at home, I guess, so they harass and power trip at work. I'm sure it's no fun working with a bunch of dirty cans, maybe that is the reason for the ego. "You stand here, you go there." You do what I say cause I have dirty hands all day! It's a very sad group of folks, I imagine the pay isn't much to write home about either. I'm kind of feeling sorry for them. :/Try not to ever go there, your day will be worse because of it. The sad thing is that the State of Oregon can get away with charging you .10 and hire a bunch of meanies so they never have to refund your deposit. What a scam.

Bags go missing from their drop offs. The bins are always full, easy for someone to grab the bags and leave. The whole can deposit thing is Oregon is a scam.

I have been shorted 3 times by this facility in the past year, usually by $3-$4 when I drop off 2 of their green bags of cans and a few bottles. Then you have to call their help center in ********, ** to get proper credit. *** spent about an hour on hold total for the 3 times Ive had to call them. The help center staff have been helpful and dont seem at all surprised by claims of being shorted, and quickly enter credit on your account for the difference. But how many people actually check their account and realize theyre being ripped off? Interestingly, I have used the Bottle Drop in *******, ** numerous times and never had any issues. BEWARE THE WHITE CITY BOTTLE DROP CENTER, THEY SHORT PEOPLE ON BOTTLE CREDITS ON A REGULAR BASIS!

This place is awful. The staff are the rudest, most unhelpful people Ive ever met. This place discourages recycling. Ill throw mine in the garbage before stepping foot in another Oregon Bottledrop.

Rude employees looking for ways to kick people out, you should look for ways to help out people. We are trying to get our money back, you guys think we need you, no you need us. Cant wait for the class action suit, im sure it will happen soon. Horrible business, and why is this our only option, state of oregon, i blame you for not stepping in, ridiculous

Unfortunately, in Oregon you have no choice but to use these centers, but they are a complete ripoff. When I count a bag of bottles/can is worth $8.50-$10. When they count the same bag Im credited $3.90 and the they take .40 for their time, when you add the cost of the bags and the labels you pay to drop of bottles/cans!!! So, you pay money to drop off your cans/bottles or you stand in line for ***** minutes and do it yourself. What a joke!
