    I bought a 1984 ***** from ***** ******* the owner of this business. I paid 1200 dollars plus my prior vehicle. I made the mistake of not getting this ***** checked out by a separate reputable mechanic and it ended up having a detrimental bottom end rod knock. I then tried to negotiate to get my original vehicle back and a portion of my money but ***** absolutely refused to give either back and insisted there was no knocking noise despite what 3 trusted mechanics said. The original terms of his and I deal was that I would put up 1200 dollars plus my prior vehicle and I had a month to either sell my vehicle and pay him the remainder of the money or he would keep my car. Until then my car would remain in my name and that was that. After the negotiations went south he proceeded to go behind my back and register the vehicle in his name, and make me wait for the title to my car to get it back which was around a month. So here I was as a 16 year old kid without a vehicle and out 1200 dollars. I eventually got my car back with the catalytic converter missing and a horrible exhaust leak. He also swapped 2 of my spark plugs out for the wrong ones making it run absolutely terrible. In this whole process he called my family mechanic a " two bit mechanic." And was just overall a awful man to do business with. Thankfully I received my original vehicle back and he took the *****. I still have not seen a single ***** of my 1200$ that I worked extremely hard for. The ***** also popped a rear main seal leak and has sat on his property since. This guy has children and a wife but still likes to scam and sell junk cars to people. Extremely unprofessional and buyer beware of him.
