Current user of ******************** Online (QBO) Accountant and recently had a frustrating experience with their payment system. On 3/1, I used QBO to record a check payment received from a client on 12/31/2024not to process an ACH transaction. My client's checking information was stored in QBO from when I previously used their ACH payment service, but I had stopped using it due to the fees.On 3/2, I received a "Money on the way!" email, indicating the payment was being processed through QuickBooks Payments (ACH) without my authorization. I immediately checked QBO to see if I had mistakenly selected "Charge Payment" instead of "Record Payment," but that was not the case. I attempted to cancel or refund the transaction in every possible waythrough the Payments page, **************** and other sectionswithout success. However, since it was Sunday night, I had to wait until Monday to speak with customer service. On 3/3, I called QBO support. The representative was polite and confirmed that I had followed all the correct stepsthe mistake was not on my end. I explained that I just wanted to fix the issue and would happily write my client a check to refund them. I requested a refund of the $9.05 processing fee I was charged. After a 1 hour and 27-minute call, the representative told me she needed approval to process the refund. I was asked to provide proof of the refund, which I did, submitted:A photo of the check I issued to my client, A deposit slip receipt, A screenshot showing the check had cleared my account, Despite providing all this proof, no refund was processed. On March 18, I called QBO again to follow up, as I had still not received my $9.05 refund. Additionally, I requested that my clients saved banking information be removed from *** to prevent this from happening again. After another 1-hour and 6-minute call, I was told the refund was finally "approved." However, after an additional 41 minutes, I was informed that *** simply could not remove my clients info.

Their customer service is horrible. When you go to them with a tech problem, they read you the same things that are on Quickbooks troubleshooting pages, then they will try to sell you extra stuff instead of actually helping with your problem. I am on week 2 of Bank Feed errors that customer service keep going in circles around. It's no surprise that none of these complaints are answered since Intuit seems to be going down the toilet these days. Do yourselves a favor and don't get Intuit Quickbooks! There are plenty of other accounting programs and myself and my clients will be changing to a different program for 2025.

I have been going in circles with this QuickBook payments center. I did job for client in 2021, never receive his payment, I created the invoice Thur QuickBooks he paid invoice but still never receive my money. Now we are 2024 and I got email stating that my payment was being sent. They never ask us the account still active which is wasnt. The payment was return I tried get into merchant center to updated it, but they close merchant account with no email to me. Then we made a new merchant account now I trying verified my bank with the small deposit they send but link gave me was expired link. Im really feel like this would have happen if I wasnt a black business owner, we have go thur so much just be trusted in these spaces, it should have took me 3 years to get update as if my black own small business didnt matter to them. Now I having hardest time getting my money that was paid to me. It like they trying make it hard for me to receive my money so that they can keep it. I feel like it some shady stuff going on and I will be taking them to court on this matter. My business has took hit for not receiving this payment that was two **** of work with no pay. My names ****** ******** and I hope this get to the president
