I signed a contact on 6/22/2023 and here it is at the end of October and still my solar isnt up and running. I start my first payment on it November 19 and I am ******. That is plenty of time to get my install complete. I did not sign up to make two large payments to both Evergy and Goodleap. I reached out multiple times sometime they get back with me but I always have to call someone else because a lot of the time no one gets back to me. They have had nothing but excuses when I do call. I have dealt with **, *******, ****, ******** and Im pretty sure some others. One of the installers foot fell through my attic and we have a hole and all we got was $50 to repair it. Thats not enough to pay someone to come and patch it up. They left a huge mess on my roof after install that I was them to pick up and they didnt when I was told They would. I can provide more paper work if needed.Business Response

I have filed before and it seemed that then it was corrected. However, now, it's gotten worse. We got solar from Vyvue and after the initial installation it would not turn on only to find out it was never wired properly and it had to be redone. It finally started working until July 2024 when after receiving an electric bill for over $200 finding out it stopped. We finally found somebody to talk to and when someone came out they found that parts of the system were installed wrong and those had to be replaced and redone. Since then the breaker box outside fit the solar keeps tripping the 20 fuses. We are being left to not only pay for the loan payment for the solar but for a high utility bill as well since it's not working properly. It seems no one is listening to our complaints and frustrations.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:They can point out the last three weeks but they DO NOT respond to the previous month and a half plus that it wasn't functioning. This system has had issues since work was supposedly finished due to first it had to be completely rewired then certain parts were not installed correctly resulting in the system going down leaving us with the loan payment and a higher utility bill because of it. They do not address that or try to make that right.

I am rejecting this response because: They did remove the brackets and made the repairs to my home promising that that it would be good as new which hasn't been the case. Plus when telling Vyvue I was not comfortable in putting any of their solar panels on my home or property after going through what I did with them, they tried bullying me and sending me repeated emails how I owed them money! They messed up this deal, NOT ME! They did try to fix it but the roof leaked where they removed the brackets and made the repairs. I had to fix that on my own, not Vyvue. People should be very aware of this business and their bullying ways of trying to get you to do business with them and when you decide not to.

Again, we apologize for the challenges you've encountered on your project. We have worked diligently for months to correct things and find solutions. In addition to our field employees, our CEO, and multiple VPs have been involved in helping you resolve concerns and design and install a solar system that works for you. We sent an employee to your home to evaluate the structure of your shed to accommodate panels as part of the specialized design we created for you. That same employee also removed the brackets and repaired your roof. We have your text messages indicating how pleased you were with his work. What we did not have until now is any knowledge that the repairs were inadequate. If you had communicated this to us, we would have sent the same employee out again to make things right.
After going the extra mile and finally designing a system and creating a viable plan, you informed us that you have changed your mind and want to wait five years before installing solar. For this reason, we have sent itemized invoices to you for cancellation fees, outlined in Section 7 of your installation agreement, because we have invested much time and money into your project. Naturally, we would love to be your solar installer, so we've done everything possible to correct wrongs and develop a project that works for you. We have not acted as bullies but as allies. If you choose to move forward with solar installation, you will not have any cancellation fees.We're grateful for your feedback because it helps us learn and grow. In the spirit of genuinely wanting to make things right, and because we care about our customers, I will submit a request to our cancellation department to offer a discount on your cancellation fees. Please let us know if you have changed your mind and would like to proceed with installation. We have the plans in place and are prepared to get to work.

I am rejecting this response because: Yes, I was over joyed when your company FINALLY sent someone to my home to remove the brackets and make the repairs to my home, because it took way too long and too much fighting to do so. And for a little while it did do the job but then the roof repairs started to leak which caused all kinds of new problems that required hiring someone else to repair it all correctly because honestly after everything I had gone though with Vyvue, I did not feel Vyvue could adequately do the job. Who will refund me for that bill??? Will Vyvue? How about we just call it even?And Yes, we spoke about putting the solar panels on the building in the back yard but it's an old storage building turned into a shop that's almost 20 years old! I was NOT comfortable with any plan that Vyvue came up with, but you guys kept pushing and pushing. You even rushed in sending a person out (in the winter rain!) to look at the building to see what repairs and updates would have to be made to make things possible but it was a lot. I said I'd rather wait to get a new building before adding panels to this old one and having to pay the fee later on to get them transferred over because that's expensive!

I was approached by Vivant to have solar panels installed. I agreed and had them installed on July 31st and Aug 1st after weeks of no contact. Was told city inspector needed to inspect panels. Two weeks later no call or inspector so called Vyvue, who is the company that holds the loan for the solar panes, and was told there was a ticket in and they were waiting on the city of ******. My neighbor is an inspector for the city of ****** so I asked him and he called dispatch only to be told no ticket was in. I called back and informed Vyvue of the information I found out and finally got a ticket in. inspector comes out says 2 wiring issues should take 20min to fix. I have called Vyvue at minimum once a week since, emailed, left messages with supervisors and called every number listed online. I was told last Monday that the installers will be in ****** from *** this week and will get it fixed. No one showed. I call today and am told there is no ETA for them to fix the issues and after refusing to hang up for over an hour was given the number to the scheduler named ***** at ************ so I would get off the phone. Called the number and no answer. My payments start Nov 1 and they are inoperable. I have a contract for $60,000.00 invested in a product I cannot use or get any answer on when I will be able to.Business Response

I purchased solar panels from ****** who subcontracted to Vyvue. The contract included spray in insulation in my attic and service install with city and power company inspections. Around 4wks ago the panels were installed, i called repeatedly until i finally was contacted by someone to actually schedule the inspections. They failed the electrical inspection with the city so the main power company cannot inspect. I have contact Vyvue via email and called and no one will tell me the way forward. Also they failed to provide me with the solar panel agreement for purposes of insuring what they put on my house and getting the tax benefits at the end of the year. The insulation has not been installed and they wont answer how or when that will be completed as well. Or who to even call to get it done. Long story short this company sold me panels that according to the electrical engineer will not save any money in the long run as it is undersized.Business Response

Solar company Vyvue installed Solar panels on my house in June 2023. To this date. We have not been able to speak to anyone or customer service about getting a contractor back out to my house to finish installing Solar system to pass city inspection. The 1st inspection failed back on July 2023. NO ONE has answered an email or returned a single phone call as of yet. I called and talked to the sales person who said he would get a message to the right department. That hasn't happened either. I'm filing the complaint because I received an email from them stating my first payment is due this month. Well I'm surely not paying for something I dont have and unable to use. I went on the company portal for my account and emailed the manager assigned to my account. I've not heard anything back from this company. I was promised solar panels and foam insulation in my attic. The panels are installed but I still have holes in my walls from the wiring that they said they would fix.
