    Got bit by a bait and switch. Have the paper trail to prove it. Issue 1: A consistent back order date was represented during the checkout process when ordering on line and then in a confirmation email. Received parts identified as "replacement parts" and get suspicious. Checked the backorder date and instead of 2 weeks in the email, it's now 3+ months, grossly misrepresenting the back order date. Issue 2: product itself was misrepresented. It's just a few boxes of parts, missing one and the product is useless. As someone as out-of-state, I tried to file a complaint but apparently Ohio doesn't care about consumer protections. If something says backorder, it's buyer beware. My experience is only recent however I've learned my ******* Never again.

    Their return policy is terrible! If you return an item unopened they will still charge a 10% restocking fee.

    DX Engineering is the most helpful company I've dealt with in many years! I was interested in ham radios but didn't know what I needed, what would work in remote ******. After reading a ton of articles I knew that I was in over my head. So many nerds and not enough time! So instead, I called DX Engineering and was connected to Customer Tech Support. **** and ***** walked me through the entire purchase order, giving me suggestions about what I would need for the application I had in mind. I was appreciative that they didn't try to pressure or sway me into higher priced items (up sale) as I'm sure it was apparent that I knew little to nothing and it would have been easy for them to do. Shipping was reasonable and the delivery was fast, just a few days, which is great for Alaska! Packaging was excellent, lots of thick bubble wrap, thick cardboard, and items are double boxed and taped securely. Very nicely done. The products are very well made, no cheap junk, very high quality! I don't usually write reviews, but I am just super impressed. I order a ton of stuff online and this outfit is a keeper! They have won a devoted customer. And no, I'm not related to anyone at DX, or have stock in their company. Just a five-star review because they deserve it!

    I placed an order on August 21 2022.. They do not have the product on stock but they charge my credit card for it.They promess the product will be shipped on September 12, but it was not right, Then I cancel the order on September 13 and today is Semptember 15 and what they say is that I have to waiat around 7 days for the money to go into my account again, Is this is fair for a company??Is this is what the ********* Operators deserve from that company , H*** no.I am really disappointed with this company , they have no respect for us.They use your credit, your money and they do not care for anything else.

Our records show that your order ******* was placed on 8-21-22 via our mobile website. The part was on backorder at the time. A *** credit card was used for the purchase. The *** credit card though (Synchrony) requires payment upfront for all purchases to the special purchase terns. This is specified in their terms and conditions when the credit card is applied for. The anticipated shipping dates provided are estimates from the supplier. Unfortunately being estimates, these dates are subject to change. We do remain in contact with our suppliers and update any changes to estimated shipping dates in the order status section of the website. On Monday 9/12/22 you requested to cancel the order. The order was canceled as you requested and a refund was processed electronically. Refunds typically can take up to 3-5 business days before the funds are posted back to your account. This is standard for credit card refunds everywhere. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your project.
