Summit racing does not stand behind their products. A cooling fan they sold failed, causing damage to the radiator on my 78 cj7, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere! Now they refuse to make good on the defective part. They told me its the manufacturers problem. If that's the case, then why does every business make good on a defective item you buy? This part failed after the 3rd time I drove the Jeep.Summit Racing Equipment

We apologize for any problems you may have had with a fan that was ordered from us by actual customer **** *****. According to our records, Mr. ***** was the person who actually purchased the product in question. While we are certainly not happy that there was an issue with the fan, the review you have left is inaccurate. The shop that ordered the fan spoke to us on 4/21/25 and we replaced the failed fan under warranty and sent a replacement at no charge. At no point did anyone deny the person a warranty exchange. In addition, an extra consideration was provided to Mr. ***** for the inconvenience.Review fromKen R

Great until you leave a review about a product they sell! They will take forever looking for ways to reject it if it's at all negative! Just be warned s lot of reviews are missing because of this moderation they perform!Summit Racing Equipment

In checking with them, they confirmed the only reason your review was rejected was due to you including mention of a competitor in it. I don't accept this my review was concise to the point! About my experience and why ! Your rules are setup to prevent bad reviews on ridiculous keywords that are not offensive to anyone except Summit Racing? You only want caveman like Reviews Product Good ! or Product Bad! Ordered some parts from them here and there, the shipping is always fast. I recently called them about some questions I had regarding the tolerances of different parts and how they line up. The sales *** I spoke to was knowledgeable and helped me get to the bottom of my questions. I ordered a power steering valve, which was delivered within 48 hours and went great! ?? (I SENT MY CORE BACK WELL ALMOST A MONTH AGO AND NEVER RECEIVED MY REFUND OF $250!) We apologize for any issues you had with the wheels you ordered from us. Unfortunately, as our representatives you spoke with mentioned, the manufacturer of the wheels that you ordered does not cover surface rust under their warranty. They state that it is preventable through routine cleaning and maintenance. Any wheels with a chrome finish are going to require some degree of cleaning and polishing in order to maintain the finish/appearance to them. That is the nature of the material in this case unfortunately. We reached out to you and have offered an amicable resolution and have yet to hear back from you.Review fromNelson K

I have never found a better company than Summit Racing. The speed at which they ship the parts I order far exceeds all other companies out there including amazon and their bs 2 day shipping. I ordered the wrong parts and when I called customer service to exchange them for the correct parts they said they would get them shipped right away. They had the parts shipped before I even got a chance to package the return parts. If I put in an order in the evening they will have it shipped before morning. Prices are always close to other stores and quality is always great. Thank you Summit for the superior service and fast shipping.Summit Racing Equipment

Placed order for summit racing intercooler PN ******. Item came in a clearly water damaged box, inside shipping box. No water damage outside. This means it left the warehouse in this shape! This is aluminum and it even has rust? How is that possible. It is painted as well when the description says it is not. So many issues and customer satifaction/ service has been awful. We spend a ton of money there through our shop as well! Is that how summit does business? Contacted summit to return. Return authorized but I have no box to ship this back in, (water samage) Call back later and request a replacement, (I'll just ship the old in the new box.) They won't even ship a replacement? "We can't do that". I have done business with summit for many years but this will be the last.Summit Racing Equipment

2nd set of summit racing headers. Both the same, the drivers side is not bent enough to slide in exhaust pipe. Sent in 2 questions and 1 review but none was posted. They will refund but a lot of work install and remove. They said it has a 4.3 rating so it must be ok. Just admit the problem instead they say they may need modification which would be a job to do plus look like c*** on my classic truck. I bet the one in their show room doesn't have this problem.Summit Racing Equipment

You really should have workers that know what they are talking about when someone comes in asking if parts will fit their vehicle. 1500 is not the same as a 2500..... You don't tell someone its an exact fit and guarantee it just to get the sale. Then to take it to a paint shop to have it painted to match the vehicle to find it doesn't fit. Called and spoke to Smokey who said I can get a refund on the hood only but not the paint job I paid for. Then spoke to **** who is supposed to be a manager and had nothing to say, I even had to ask if he was still there. Tried to blame the Paint Shop for not confirming before painting. The paint shop was hired to do Summit's job and sell the correct part. Their job was to paint and that is what they did. Now out the money of the part, the paint cost and still no part for the vehicle. Instead of taking accountability for the worker who assured the fit or as a company in general, they want to throw the blame on everyone else.Summit Racing Equipment

We apologize for any issues with your the hood you ordered from us. We do not cover any labor, incidental or consequential costs that may be incurred due to an issue with an item ordered from us. While we do try to be as accurate as possible when selling parts, we always recommend test fitting and confirming fitment on an item prior to painting or modifying it, as that is the industry norm. While our policy states we do not accept returns on items that have been modified. They need to do better about shipping, is not the first time I order items and you pay for 2 day or overnight delivery and they don't send the packages on time for the package to be deliver on time for what you pay and they promise when you order. Order #******* order was placed on 11/13/2024 and it was supposed to be delivered on 11/15/2024 but it was not sent on time and now the expected delivery is 11/18/2024. Save your money on paying for faster delivery or find another company that honors it.Summit Racing Equipment
