While the venue is beautiful and our wedding was a memorable night, Im unsure if wed choose TP again. Located on the residential property of owner *********,the venue has very strict rules that impacted our guests' experience negatively. We canceled our transportation after ** promised a shuttle service a month before the wedding, losing our deposit. The shuttle service didnt pick up guests before the ceremony and ended up at incorrect hotels. At least 20 guests drove to ensure they arrived on time, and afterward, some were dropped off at the wrong hotel. The lack of accountability for this oversight was frustrating. During the reception, three issues were brought to us.All of these could have been addressed the next day, which detracted from our celebration. The TP team may claim our guests were difficult, but this was one of the most low-key weddings Ive ever attended. Even guests who were laid back shared negative feedback about their treatment by the staff. We didnt add an additional bartender, based on TP's reassurance that their team would step in if necessary.Unfortunately, this didnt happen, and long lines persisted throughout the night. A rule restricting guests to take only one drink at a time, whether it was for a spouse sitting down or someone celebrating with the Bride and Groom on the dance floor, which further slowed service. When I was told they had run out of liquor, I was refused a mixed drink, even though there were still bottles available. The staff following guests to the parking lot was excessive. Two incidents were particularly concerningone guest was followed to her car to pump, and another was denied permission to get her jacket. While ********* was helpful in the planning process, her structured approach can be overly rigid. This venue wasnt a good fit for us, and I hope my review helps you consider if it's right for you.TP catered well to us as the couple, but the overall experience was too restrictive, impacting our guests enjoyment.

Thank you Brooke for taking the time to review our space and have already addressed some of your concerns in detail via email. I will however give a summary of everything that has been discussed in the last two weeks.

As we had already discussed via email, we have a detailed contract that mentions all rules, regulations, pricing, expectations and requirements for both the client and the venue. We are very clear as to what the guest experience will be like prior to clients booking at our venue.
For your event we fulfilled all of our contractual duties and more, even though you yourself did not.
Some examples of breeches in contract include:
-15 day late payment of your final invoice (we did not charge you the late fee),
-guests bringing in their own alcohol from their vehicles (All alcohol has to be served by the bartender for client safety)
-guests trying to have sex in the bridal suite (They barricaded themselves in the bridal suite which is against fire code)
-drugs being brought into the property
-our puppy ingesting editable's that were left near the private residence by a groomsmen, resulting in additional vet bills
-verbal abuse from your guests that resulted in a staff member having to go home
-8 additional guests who were not counted in the final guest count (final guest count is due 30 day's before)

Our priority is always client safety, when guests begin the evening making poor decisions it affects everyone's experience.

We host over 30 weddings in a season and have over 4500 people attend weddings since our average guest size is 150. From that number our negative client interactions are well below industry standard. We understand that we may not be for everyone, however our standard meets most's.

The shuttle was added free of charge since it's a new service that is being provided. Guest's were picked up between 3:30pm and 4:30pm. We have a shuttle phone as well as a business phone where clients were able to contact us directly if they had questions about the shuttle. Some of your guests did utilize this feature and we were able to drive to pick them up. In the evening, the shuttle was scheduled to finish at 11pm but made 2 additional trips that were not part of our agreement. In one of those trips the driver asked the guests where they were staying and they all willingly and knowingly got off the shuttle at the hotel that everyone believed to be their own. No one was forced to do anything and the shuttle driver returned to pick those guests up.

We have a large parking lot that can accommodate many vehicles, unfortunately it is not lit up at night. Our policy is that if any guests need to go to their vehicles, we always ask if they need a ride and also make sure that they are safe. We also do not allow people to loiter in the parking lot since guests should either be at the event or leaving to ensure that everyone is safe. This policy is discussed during booking as well as at meetings through out the planning process. Anyone who has special requests, (such as breastfeeding ) we can accommodate in a more comfortable space.

As discussed in the email we are always willing to meet in person and continue this conversation if needed. All we are able to do is ensure that we are clear and consistent, this is reflected by our contract and agreement.

The venue itself is beautiful! Unfortunately it comes with staff that is not so great and you do not have an option to not use them. ********* is the owner and "coordinator" who came up to me the entire night of my wedding with any and every problem she could think of. I was not able to enjoy my wedding day mostly because she was constantly pulling me aside. We did not get our security deposit back because someone vomited in the bathroom and people brought their own beer (which we stopped people from doing before the dancing even begun.) She works with you before the wedding and plans most of it but is very pushy and wants you to do things the way she wants not what the bride wants. There are many things to list that she did unfairly to us, some of them including; pushing a groomsmen, blaming me for not being able to handle enforcing her own facility rules, and she wasn't letting people go back to their own vehicles. She was more focused on people drinking their own beer than just sitting back and trying to make it a good day for my husband and I. Our friends who were in the wedding mentioned how ********* was rude to them, truly unfortunate. 0/10 would not recommend this venue.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review our space and commenting on on the beauty of the space. We have about 10 staff members that are present during the weddings to assist with clean up of the space so our guests don't have to pick up/rinse dishes, ensure bathrooms are stalked as well as clean up any normal spills or accidents that could occur through out the night. Our onsite coordinators are not wedding planners, they do not plan your event. The timeline is discussed in detail months before the event and every detail is picked by the client.Guests drinking in the parking lot as well as drinking their own alcohol is prohibited on our property to ensure guest, community and staff safety. This is written and agreed upon prior to booking the space. We had several conversations about guests drinking their own alcohol the entire night, and if we do not have client support we are not able to send that particular guest home safely. Lack of client support led to excessive vomit in multiple areas as well as on staff. It was irregular for a client to leave before all of the guests so our staff had to help arrange safe transportation for a guest that had been drinking his own alcohol all night and was not able to stand. When outside alcohol is an issue we do everything possible to make sure that all guests are safe and will not put our local community at risk by allowing anyone who has been drinking to drive. No staff has ever pushed a guest. We try to defuse any conflict before asking the client to interject. If this fails we contact local authorities, but we definitely never physically interject. It has been 5 months since your event and neither the guest or yourself has brought up the treatment of a groomsmen in any of our the conversations that we have recently been having in the last 2 days.We are limited as to how we are able to enforce our facility rules except with retaining our security deposit, which is what happened in this case. We have offered several opportunities in the last two days to come in and discuss your concerns in person.Once again, we are always open for you and your guests to discuss their concerns in person since we take all concerns seriously and would love the opportunity to rectify or improve in any way that is valid and warranted.
